At its core, MoonFang academy is an elementary school and middle school combined into one!
Students enter at age 5 for 1st grade, and graduate at age 13 in 8th grade.
For character creation - the minimum Age for characters is: 9+!

The MoonFang Academy does not have dorms, children are expected to have guardians/homes to return to.

EARLY GRADUATION

 Despite the schools system, they will never hold a child back for underperforming at MoonFang!
Students advance to Agatha Academy when they are of age (13) no matter what!
This is to encourage adaptive social behavior in BunBat children.

However, if a student is showing great promise and is proving themselves as a prodigy of the academy...
Starting from age 12, they will be considered for an early graduation.
This is when the guardians or the parents of the MoonFang Student are approached, told of their child's talents, and are proposed for advancement. 
It all just comes down to a yes or no from them and the student.

  Academy Founders || The MoonFang Family   

It was King MoonFang himself who founded the Academy.
With the royal's death, the legacy he left behind has fallen upon his two sons- both of which seem to have gone missing...
King Moonfang was renowned as the prime example of what a BunBat strives to be and is remembered with great affection and admiration.
While his sons are quite troublesome- the name of MoonFang is deeply treasured in the Academy.

  Academy Principal || Principal Delphie  

A Delphie that wears a monocle! Quite distinguished... and known for carrying out principal duties.

  Vice Principal || Franklin NobleNose   
The 50 year old Vice Principal of the Academy. A feral ESTJ, head of the Bunbat PTA, and lover of all Nightsovanian arts and culture.
NobleNose is not only the Mayor of the CastleGrounds town, but also a rather persnickety wrathful noble who rules the school with an iron fist.
He seeks nothing but perfection at all times, and this makes him an intimidating person to work for but rather efficient at keeping the school in the exact state it was meant to be.
The only person he answers to seems to be Delphie, and his fellow nobles...

 School Database || DELPHIEBOT 
An AI that was created to maintain the school servers and deliver school announcements for the principal.
It delivers positive reminders and blocks any non-moonfang students from entering the school designated servers.
 A brilliant creation that is adored/behated and well known by the students of MoonFang for its unwavering presence through every aspect of their school lives.

  BUNBAT SOCIETY IS ALL ABOUT SOCIALIZATION  
It is utmost ideal for a young Bunbat to be knowledgeable of their peers.
To be out of the loop is to endanger one's future family ties, as well as maladaptive for their species..

  YOUTH GUILD LISTINGS  
The club system that serves as an obligatory mega coven for the youths of MoonFang to encourage socializing and unify children with a basic common interest.
These clubs typically meet at the end of the school day and do group activities, take trips and soak in each others company until its time to go home!
At the head of each youth guild, one can find a dedicated mentor to guide the kids on their studies.

 [THE YOUTH REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL] 
The youth representatives are a four member society elected by public vote, to further the interest of young Nightsovanians!
The most important thing to note about youth reps is that they earn prestige for their family and bloodline at a young age.
Being elected a youth representative means other adults automatically trust you more than the other kids too!
One can only run for youth representative if they are between 5-16 years of age, and are a Bunbat.
The Four Members are composed of...

  1. THE LIL PRESIDENT - The voice for final decisions regarding Nightsovanian youth, with a seat on the Lil Nights noble council.
  2. HEAD OF LIL REFINED CULTURE - In charge of beautifying the culture of Lil Nights' youths, the official hall monitor at Moonfang that others model after!
  3. HEAD OF LIL TINKERING - Can pitch youth sciences and discoveries to the adults, and publish official baby papers about new discoveries!
  4. MX. LIL NIGHTSOVANIA - The most popular child around with a lot of social influence! They usually come with big ears and an online presence~

  COVEN CIRCLES 
Coven Circles are not managed by the school to any degree and are more like ancient cliques that are revived or die depending on who is and isn't there.
They're usually close knit circles of BunBats who seem inseparable and engage in a particular activity on campus.
It's an unspoken law of Coven Circles that they exist in a realm untouched by adults and if you have beef with other circles, you must declare war with your own hands.

  SOCIAL CLASS AND LINEAGE PRESSURE  
Underneath its prestigious history... MoonFang Academy is quite a lot for a young mind to take in...
In Bunbat society, one's last names defines ones' social perception... and it's no different for the children that attend the academy.
Due to how socially pressured Bunbats are to know of eachother's bloodlines, lineage, and class. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE for young Bunbats to not be influenced in some way by their parents.
Even if they choose to rebel against the culture they were raised in, they'd still have a GOOD GRASP of who's who and in which class, just by knowing another's last name.

  
[AN INDEPTH RUN DOWN OF THE BUNBAT SOCIAL CLASS FOODCHAIN...]
Royalty > High Class Nobles > Nobles > Working Nobles > Prestigious Workers > Accomplished Workers > Average Workers > Lowclass "Riff Raffs"> Shamed Families >  Unknown Bloods 
After settling in Mahou Wando, an agreement was reached to allow the Bunbat species to carry on their culture however they please to accommodate and respect their life style.
Thus unfortunately... while many good parts of the culture were retained such as tinkering, innovation at young ages, and lyrical poetry...
The very classist mindsets of Bunbat royalty, nobles, and working nobles stayed as well.

If a child has a family low on the foodchain, this can lead to a lot of bullying and picking on from your peers!
This is an unspoken part of going to the school, and the children of shamed families sometimes may be excluded from social circles.

IMPORTANT NOTE: WHILE NONBAT MAHOUS ARE SOMETIMES CRITICAL OF THE CLASS-DIVIDE BETWEEN BUNBATS
MOST BUNBATS, EVEN THE ADULTS CONSIDER IT DISRESPECTFUL FOR NONBATS TO COMMENT ON THEIR HISTORICAL LINEAGE AND CULTURE.
Thus, despite the issues it usually raise among even children - IT IS NOT MANDATORY FOR TEACHERS TO STOP CLASSIST BEHAVIOR.
As they say... "To be a proper lord and lady, they must learn to respect their nobles and develop proper manners!"
There are of course, some professors who put in the effort to change things, and they're appreciated by the children who need them...
Though, if they raise their voice towards CERTAIN HIGH CLASS BUNBAT CHILDREN...
There might be consequences for their actions.
  THE WRATH OF THE PTA  
MoonFang's funding is held entirely in the pocket of the families who send their children there.  
Thus, there's a power struggle in making sure the upper crusts' little bundles of moonlight are cared for like the little angels they are.
"What do you mean Jannietta BrightEars is not good to the other kids? How DARE you try to soil our family name!"
Anyways... the school tends to kiss up to the wealthy investors constantly, and ignore complaints from lower-classed families.
Professors who get mixed up in coven drama too often have to watch their backs,
for they may just get FIRED for transgression against the system, or causing the school to lose investors.

  DEFENDING ONE'S FAMILY HONOR IN SCHOOL  
To BESMIRCH another Bunbat family's name is of the UTMOST OFFENSE. 
Even a "Yo Mama" joke could be taken seriously on the playground-
Thus, Babybats must learn from a young age to DEFEND THEIR FAMILY'S HONOR, and the most common way to do so... is with a DUEL.
Whether it'd be a card game, diss track, sports, or any other means decided... When a duel is set, to back out or deny a duel is a cowardly move, and brings shame to one's families!
This is the one aspect where UPPERCRUST CHILDREN may feel immense pressure from, for lower the class, the less one has to lose when it comes to face.
Uppercrust children may feel as if they must win under all circumstances, for some Bunbats have a habit of recording one's bloodline history as early as grade school...
With the pressure to perform from the upperclass, and the expectation to be looked down upon from the lower,
there's pressure from both sides and EASY ROADS TO FUTURE RESENTMENT...

A program for Seniors in Agatha Academy and Agatha Afters students to acquire experience in fields of interest while immersing themselves in Nightsovanian culture.
This is typically for Nightsovanian Natives to "return home" and take mentorship from a MoonFang Professor as their class assistant, called: A Royal Tutor.

You're a good fit for tutoring if:

-You are 17+
-You work well with young children.
-You are a Nightsovania Native / Enjoy the environment.
-You are studying under a subject that exist within the walls of the school.
-You have a letter of approval from the professor you seek mentorship from.
-You have a wall constructed resume, for this is basically being hired to do a job.
-You show that you are an exceptional and well mannered Lord, untainted by Agatha Academies chaotic ways.
-You promise to respect Nightsovanian culture (which yes, includes understanding the class system that exists)
-You don't annoy the Vice Principal.

IT SURE IS.
Do I really need to be all those things?

"YES. I will NOT allow upperground mahous who do not respect our ways to tutor at this school!"
 Don't listen to him! This actually isn't a very difficult program to enter as it's harder to stay in it. 
MoonFang is always interested in innovation, but if you turn out to be "unsavory" in the eyes of the school, you will be fired.

Universal non-magical subjects for students to learn.

Classes that play into the Bunbat speciality of using Tinkering to make-up for their shortcomings in magic.
Ex. Tinkering, Engineering, Robotics, Defensive Charm Making, Go-Kart Racing, The Art of Flight, etc.

  
COVENTIME
An 1 hr and 30 minute lunch intermission between classes that encourages socializing and play!
Ex. Eating your lunchables, playing on the swings, kicking that guy you hate, starting food fights, hanging out with your covens, etc!

GOOD MANNERS AND COMMUNICATION

Classes dedicated to helping the student carry themselves like a proper noble, improve their social skills and 
encourage engagement with their culture.
Ex. Music & Rhythm, Poetry, Juice Brewing 101, Debate & Discussion, Noble Manners 101, Internet Safety etc. 

BAGBAT CARE & CRAFTING

Classes that play into more domestic aspects of BunBat life, such as everyday crafts and caring for Creachers.
Ex. BagBats Care, Creacher Studies, Cooking, Baking, Cleaning, Knitting, etc.
