Students typically graduate at 17-18 

NOTE!!! Students CAN be held back if they underperform or do not meet the graduation requirements on time.

They will be allowed to remain in the academy until age 20 at maximum, with varying edits to their living conditions as they continue their schooling.

The Agatha Academy provides dorms to attending students.

  AGATHA AFTER  

Following your graduation from the academy, if you seek higher education in Mahou Wando the AGATHA AFTER program opens its doors to you as a college experience! 

Minimum Age: 17+

Graduation Requirements

-Complete courses with passing grades

-Get your assigned mentors blessing and complete your Magicians Thesis

Students at AGATHA AFTER are challenged to take a multi-year study of a particular form of magic and towards the end of their study present a fleshed-out presentation on their magic of choice, what they learned and what they discovered. Completing a magician's thesis is quite the feat that can earn you honors in and beyond the realm.

  Broomsticks - For flying classes and a must-have for cross-campus travel.

  Scrolls - Communicate with your professors and classmates with instant messaging scrolls!

  School Badge - For others to know you're an official Agatha Academy student while you're here~
The badges are very important as they have a protection spell cast on them by Agatha herself that can protect students and teachers from powerful forces.

  Wands - Something every upcoming Mahou needs! A must-have for a majority of magic affiliated classes. It can also be used as pencils and pens with inking spells.

  Wiz Hat - For a Mahou a nice hat is better than a backpack! You can store just about anything in them and pull them out when you need them. Of course, most hats have a capacity- so get yourself a good one before school starts!

  School ID - Something good to have on you so all the professors know who you're with!

  Academy Founder || Agatha Hargrooves  

The founder of Agatha Academy and the creator of the Mahou Wando realm. 
She is known to be one of the most powerful witches ever born, reigning over the realm for over 5000 years.
She's passed on... but her legacy lives on to this day and she's fondly remembered.

  Academy Principal || Miss Amita Cirrus  
The New principal of Agatha Academy and member of the Mahou Wando Council!
She was originally the caretaker of the crystal archives in Mahou Wando and has a pretty immaculate memory.
A very sweet grandma, she won't make you cookies but she'll give you knowledge!

  Realm Leader In Training || Star Hargrooves  

The 20-year-old realm-leader-in training and former student council president of Agatha Academy.
 Always known for his endless energy, belief in the good in others, and positivity, he's always willing to do his best to protect Mahou Wando.
Star is currently overseeing the academy as the official opener of every school year, and tends to swing back around for holidays and emergencies if needed!

  DATDA Student Activist || Soleil Victore Corbalt   

A 22-year old student activist at Agatha Afters. Soleil is a master of spell theory and knows almost everything there is to know in regards of Mahou Wando history. He used to be a part of an organization known as the "Rosencranz Cult", but has now turned a new leaf into trying to just make Mawa a better place. He will gladly indulge anyone who's interested with more information regarding the danger of Dark Magic and Count Rosencranz~

 Head of Creacher Research || Dr. Faun   
The Head of Creacher Research. Dr. Faun has been working on researching Creachers ever since they graduated from Agatha After, and have dedicated their entire life to learning about the magical Creachers that inhabit the realm. Though, they are a rather terrible professor as all they offer to the students are bad quality pre-recorded lectures while they continue to work in their lab underneath the school.

An Agatha academy tradition is to have the beginning assignment of the year be that students are assigned to another student to help them along their educational journey.
It isn't required to be around your training partner, heck, some kids don't see them ever again until they graduate. But it's nice to have a friend on the first day of school, right?

Ex. Kira and Ae used to be training partners when they were small!

 The Rosencranz Sealing and Mahou Wando Apocalypse  

Agatha Academy's reputation was put on the line a few years back when an evil entity named Count Rosencranz made pacts unknowingly with many of the children who attended the school- YEAH that was bad. Nowadays, Academy attendance has dwindled a bit as parents are still somewhat concerned with the competence of the professors when it comes to protecting their children from dark magic. Some professors have taken on the responsibility of rebuilding the academy's reputation ever since the incident.

  Poaching Concerns   

 Recently, for some reason, the poaching of creachers has increased!
Creacher students are advised to take care of themselves and their peers and Mahou Patrol has also been more active on campus.

  Magic vs Technology  

As the usage of technology increases, more and more mahous are incorporating technology into their everyday life alongside magic. Some old magic users and professors are happy to see this change, but just as many are skeptical about the fusion between what's traditional and new. Thus, some professors on campus will have strict policy for not using technology during class, and others won't.

Masters of their respective crafts that are trained to protect and educate their students.

The staff members of Agatha Academy are carefully selected and hired based on their credentials, education, and reputations across the realm.

Hiring Requirements:

-Must be 22+

Note!! To be a young professor implies that you were quite the star in college and you were basically immediately offered a job at this school.

-Have a Bachelors Degree

-A clean background check

-Absolute magical competence & A specialty

Types of Professors:

  1.) Agatha Afters Alumni

Graduates from Agatha Afters who excel at their particular study immediately have an opportunity to work for the school and teach their specialty magic!

  2.) Original Staff Members

The consistent members of the academy staff, who do not match Agatha in age but have seen multiple generations pass their gaze.  The Academy hiring protocol was less rigid back then, but after an incident where Merlin revealed his true nature as a feral potion addict- the hiring system got more selective and based on multiple factors to secure student safety. Yikes. These guys tend to oversee departments or continue to teach the same class they've taught for hundreds of years.

  3.) Out of Realm Masters

Educators that were invited to the realm to teach what they know best! It's quite an honor!
