Rules

The evine species is semi-open. This means that:

  • All evine designs must be approved by the species creator before they are considered official.

Creation Rules

  1. You may have as many evines as you like (as long as they are approved) and you may have multiple owners for your evines if desired.
  2. When creating an evine, please refer to the traits list. Evines should not have more than one rare trait without consent from the species creator. Evines may, however, have as many common and uncommon traits as you desire.
  3. You may change the traits of your evine at any time as long as they follow the above rules: if you choose to change your evine's traits, please reach out to 8BitBaker to have your masterlist entry updated.
  4. Evines may be any color (or combination of colors) and may have any hairstyle.
  5. Evine markings should look largely like markings that can appear on modern day animals. This includes stripes, spots, solid colors, fades, etc. Evine markings should not cross too far into the "unnatural" category - for example, an evine should not have markings that look like a starry galaxy or markings that look like sprinkles. For more details, refer to the design guide.
  6. Please respect the lore of the evines when designing your character. The world of the evines is specifically left open-ended so that you can RP them in any setting you are most comfortable with and with non-evine characters. If you wish to create an evine that doesn't follow the lore, you are welcome to do so but please do not refer to them as an evine (you may refer to them as a cabbit, jackalope, hybrid, etc).
  7. You are welcome to use the evine traits as inspiration for non-evine characters, but if the design is not approved you may not refer to that character as an evine.
