Design Guide

Evines are a species of mammals that resemble a cat/rabbit hybrid at their core. They are always covered in fur and have paws, but may have hooves or feathers in some very rare cases, based on the type of magic flowing through their bodies. Evines can be male or female with anatomy largely resembling that of a human.

  • Muzzles can vary in length but are generally relatively short - no evine would have a muzzle as pronounced as a canine.
  • Noses resemble that of a rabbit. Evine noses may or may not twitch; this is up to the evine's owner.
  • Teeth are omnivore teeth, with dull, but noticable 'canine' teeth.
  • All evines have naturally occurring hair; an evine without hair would have chosen to cut it off and would have to maintain it at that length.
  • Evines do not have pawpads on their hands, but do have them on their feet.
  • Evine paws/legs are always digitigrade.
  • Paw claws are optional. Evines do not not have toenails, but may have fingernails or claws (but must have one or the other).
