RainClan Camp

Description

The camp is located in the middle of the territory, it's a small clearing in the desnse forest thst provides shelter for the cats it houses. Bramble bushes and thorns are surrounding the camp, and the only way to enter or exit it is through a small concealed opening only the Clan's members know of. The highest area of the camp is a fallen hollow tree which serves as the High Tree, where the leader makes any announcements, but also as the leader's den. The medicine-cat's den is located on a standing tree, inside it's hollow trunk, with some additional bushes and thorns concealing it, while the warrior, apprentice and nursery dens are dead bushes that have been covered with various leaves and other insulation to protect from the weather.

Four Branch Tree

Description

The Four Branch tree is a huge tree with four large branches that leaders of the four Clans used to sit on during gatherings, unfortunately only 2 Clans remain now, so it's a painful reminder of the past, but also there for a hopeful future. A pile of rocks sits at the base of the tree, where deputies sit during gatherings.

Gathering

The Gathering happens every full moon, the two Clans come together to discuss various matters that may concern them, as well as announce new members, or other feats.

SunClan Camp

Description

The SunClan camp is located in a clearing in the Sun-Kissed Forest. There are many rocks piled around, the highest one, High Ledge, is where the leader stands when taking a clan meeting. Most dens are placed between rocks that have been given roofs from branches and leaves, and stuffed with soft moss and feathers for insulation. There is a stream that flows through the SunClan camp which is a very useful water source.

Grey Woods

Description

The Grey Woods are part of the forest that never fully recovered from the fire that raged through it many moons ago. It is a desolate place with hardly any life, just ash and the smell of death. It is so quiet, no birdsong, no crickets chirping, just silence. But, it is said that sometimes the voices of the dead can be heard echoing through the Grey Woods at night time. It is not a valued piece of land and many cats avoid it completely, but some apprentices like to go and explore it for a thrill.

Prey

No prey can be found here.

Territory

There have been disputes between SunClan and BreezeClan about who should own this part of the forest. However BreezeClan abandoned any ideas of taking the forest from SunClan after it was set ablaze, leaving it worthless.

Town

Description

A two-leg town borders SunClan Land. There is an abandoned twoleg playground that can be used as a secret meeting place for cats. However many cats stay away from the town.

Threats

This land has no owner, it is a ruthless place full of many dangers. There are gangs of alley cats, vicious loners, and of course the twolegs and their monsters. There is no guarantee you will return from this place.

The Great River

Description

The Great River is a massive river that seperates the two Clan's territories, it is a vital part of the forest and extremely important to both Clan's diets. The river has various crossing points, however the safest and most commonly used are the Stepping Stones, which belong to RainClan, and the Sunstones, which currently belong to SunClan.

Prey

The river is full of life and contains a lot of fish, both Clans feed off of it however RainClan cats seem to be more familiar with fishing than SunClan cats, who prefer hunting in the forest. Various types of fish, lizards, ducks, as well as other prey that came to drink can be found in the areas surrounding the river.

Mooncave

Description

The Mooncave is a large cave where cats go to connect with StarClan, it is located in RainClan territory, and RainClan likes to claim it as it's own and give trouble to SunClan cats attempting to enter, even though it belongs to both as it's a religious and spiritual place. The cave has a small pool and a small, comfortable gathering area where Medicine cats meet and discuss various matters concering the two Clans.

Sun-Kissed Forest

Description

The Sun-Kissed Forest covers most of SunClan's territory. It is a huge forest of mainly oak trees, though there are others. Some streams run through it, and there are clearings such as the one where the SunClan camp is. The forest is always full of bright sunlight which is where it gets it's name.

Prey

There is a lot of prey available to hunt here. Most types of woodland animals can be found, such as mice, weasels, stoats, birds, rabbits. However, the abundance of prey is very inviting for other predators such as foxes.

Territory

SunClan have owned the Sun-Kissed forest since their very beginning. PainClan tried to take it from them but failed.

The Marshland

Description

A vast murky land consisting of sticky mud and other smaller water bodies. The Marshland has various patches of dangerous mud that can trap a cat and drown it if they are not careful.

Prey Found

Not much edible prey can be found here, rarely will birds choose to rest on the branches of the weakened trees and it takes a fast and skillful warrior to catch them.

Territory

Because of the Marshland's dangerous crounds no other Clan has attempted to claim it.

The Old Lake

Description

The Old Lake is a vast water body that occupies a big part of RainClan territory, it's the reason the Marshland is so muddy and murky and the lake has been a place for cats to find prey at since RainClan's foundation.

Prey Found

The Lake is not as habitable as it used to be because it was once poisoned by twolegs, however life has been returning to it. A hunter can find various types of sweetwater fish as well as toads, lizards and eels.

Territory

The Old Lake is located deep into RainClan territory and there was never a dispute over it.

Sunstones

Description

The Sunstones are a collection of rocks amongst The Great River and it's ownership has caused many disputes. The stones warm up from sunrays during the day and make a great place for cats to lounge around and relax.

Prey Found

Since it is by The Great River, there is plenty of access to fish here as well as other thirsty prey. It can also be a good place to hunt crustaceans in the small rockpools here.

Territory

The Sunstones have been owned by SunClan for some time, but RainClan have tried to claim them as theirs many times.

Meadow

Description

The Meadow is a gorgeous piece of land. Many cats take their crushes here but it's also a great place for apprentices to train with their mentors because of how peaceful it is.

Prey Found

Mice and rabbits can mainly be found here.

Territory

The Meadow belongs to SunClan but Pinestar has tried to take it for RainClan in the past. She did not succeed and her efforts only caused deaths, as well as the loss of one of her lives.

Adder Field

Description

The Adder Field was named after the snakes that inhabit it. Adders love to make their nests in this area and hide within the tall grass. Only the bravest cats come here, especially after all the trouble SunClan had with adders under Brightstar's rule.

Prey Found

Adders and other snakes can be found here, as well as mice and other rodents.

Territory

Adder Field has always belonged to SunClan and because of the danger of snakes, no Clan has ever tried to take it from them.

Stepping Stones

Description

The stepping stones are the shallowest part of the river at any season, reaching only a water height of above the paw, that allows cats to cross over the river safely.

Prey Found

The piled rocks offer a perfect inhabitant for lizards and snakes to slither there to get some sunshine, because of the river being swallow in that area, packs of larger animals such as deer also use that area to cross over.

Territory

The Stepping Stones have been ignored by SunClan and not given much attention. That meant it was easy for RainClan to claim them and own them to this day. Refugees fleeing RainClan under Froststar's rule would attempt to escape through there but Froststar had placed guards that prevented them from doing so, making the refugees take riskier paths towards SunClan territory, some even drowning in the Great River while attempting to do so.

Barn

Description

In the moors there was an abandoned twoleg barn with a fallen tree through the middle of it which BreezeClan called their camp. The barn is now gone as twolegs came and destroyed it along with part of the moor.

Prey Found

There isn't much life to be found in this area anymore, apart from the twolegs and their dogs that come. Rats like to hide within the debris here.

Territory

This land once belonged to BreezeClan but now it belongs to the twolegs.

Moors & Fields

Description

The moors and fields are stretches of land full of grass and flowers. It was the home of BreezeClan till Twolegs destroyed their camp and started ripping up the land. Whatever is left is currently ownerless but it is likely that the issue of who gets the territory will be brought up soon.

Mainly rabbits and hares can be found here.

Territory

This territory used to be owned by BreezeClan but not much of it remains anymore since the twolegs came and drove out BreezeClan.

The Dark Woods

Description

A very dense forest located deep into RainClan territory, the leaves and branches are preventing most sunlight from reaching the ground, creating a muted glow around the woods like a murky dome. The ground is solid, unlike most of RainClan territory, and there's a lot of thorns and bramble bushes that can trap an unfortunate cat if they're not careful. Rumors say dead cats can be found walking through he forest, rejected by StarClan.

Prey Found

Not many animals can survive in that forest, most animals a cat will spot are some birds like crows, and mice. There's tiny ponds scattered through the grounds of the forest that may also house toads.

Territory

The Dark Woods belong to RainClan ever since it's creation, not even SnowClan was interested in that part of RainClan's territory because of how inhospitable it is.

Pine Forest

Description

The Pine Forest consists of mainly pine trees along with some oak trees, it is probably the sunniest and liveliest place in RainClan territory, most prey here is thriving as it's close to the water source of the Great River. It is full of trees, grass, moss and bushes, housing all sort of prey.

Prey Found

Because of the great enviroment the forest provides, a lot of prey can be found, ranging from squirrels and voles to multiple kinds of birds.

Territory

The Pine Forest has belong to RainClan since RainStar first claimed the territory, there have been some attempts to claim it by SunClan and BreezeClan but because of the Great River's vast distance their efforts were not sucessful.
