Much like Orange Light Districts, Blue Light Districts offer entertainment services, but of a much lower class. Blue didn’t always signify roughness, as it used to be the single lantern for any entertainment. Orange Light Districts were a more recent creation that lower the reputation of their Blue cousins simply by existing, so there’s a great deal of animosity between them. Blue Light District goers think Orange Light District customers are pompous and full of themselves, while the latter thinks the former common and violent.

They’re one of the busiest Districts, as they provide a wide variety of services at prices that many can afford. Necessarily, this also means that they’re filled with the average Hobeckian people, which makes them pretty violent and dangerous. Pickpocketing is really common here, and people would think something was wrong if a bar fight hadn’t broken out.

They don’t have any particular alliances, but Blue Light Districts don’t tend to get on well with others of their same lanterns since it means more competition. They’re often considered the ‘heart’ of Hobeck and are famed outside of the city for being extremely dangerous. Blue Light Districts have formed the basis for many a big dickery story in Eden.
