Beastial (Common)- Closer to animal-like features.
- Mostly fur and sharper edges; they can be covered completely in short or long fur.
- Optional alternate nose.
- This can be overlaid with any other mutation.
| Vampire (Uncommon)- It's inspired from the vampire bat.
- These have desaturated colors and are far more active in the night than normal Novatts.
- They are frail and too sensative to S'tan's light, and can only absorb and be strengthened by it through consuming blood from any animal or species of their star to survive.
- They can consume normal food too but blood once a week is a must.
- A Novatt can be born this way or bitten by a rare carrier of the vampirism virus.
- Fangs are mandatory.
| Glow (Uncommon)- A natural glow comes from the tail, feelers, antennas and tentacles of the Novatt.
- This can be overlaid with any other mutation.
| Spike (Rare)- Cutaneous horns (skin tumors) cover the body in different ways.
- They come in any color and patterns even, and can cause health issues if they're grown over or close to the eyes, mouth, or nose.
| See-Through (Rare)- The skin is translucent enough for you to faintly see the bones and innards of a Novatt.
- The skin has a "squishy" texture and is more sensitive than an normal Novatt.
- Easy to bruise.

Plant Growth (Rare)- A small ecosystem lives in the fur of these Novatts.
- Similar to a sloth, plant life grows in and attracts bugs.
- The fur isn't exactly...hygienic, and has hints of an earthy scent.
- This is more seen on beastial Novatts that may live in a more rural or forest area.
- Flowers, leafy greens, vines and small berries are examples of different plants allowed.

Armored (Rare)- The skin is hardened and overlaid like armor.
- It's said to be similar to the scales of a dragon.
Scaled (Uncommon)
- This skin is laid out in a similar way to the armored version, but it's softer with a single layer.
- It's said to be similar to the scales of a snake.
| Segmented (Legendary)- This mutation is closer linked to an earlier variation of a Novatt.
- They have a normal appearance, but this mutation creates an exoskin that protects the Novatt.
- Their wings are slightly transparent and veiny.
- They shed every spring and this is the only time they can be seen without this shell.
| Space Virtiligo (Uncommon)- A skin condition that discolors the skin and causes light cracks to open the skin.
- It's painless and shows a galaxy-like print along the under layer of the skin.
- This can be overlaid with any other mutation.
| Gargoyal (Legendary)- A rarely seen specimen that roams the night.
- They can be out during sunlight, but instantly turn in to stone when they need to restore energy.
- The fingers are long and webbed together and their split tongues are long.
- Many have savage tendencies and lurk in the city districts at night.
- They are strong and are the fastest flyers.
- If practiced they can learn to turn in to stone without having to rest.
- This can be overlaid with any other mutation.
