Dr. Bowe is like many doctors: A man who uses the best of his knowledge to make sure their patients are healthy. He is filled with hospitality to those that is visited by him. He's a wholehearted physician but he doesn't enjoy having his experiences and abilities underestimated by those below him. He's known for healing all kinds of wounds... but also known for his "aggressively calm" nature. Lincoln believes that a little force would allow them to listen to him for once. But if it weren't for that... then he wouldn't be the lead Physician in the Prodigal's most advanced hospital.

+++++++++

Hence why he doesn't have his services so open to the public. His service can really be only accessed by his former patients' recommendation. The hospital he works for is owned by the Prodigal themselves and can be only accessed freely by its members. Rarely there comes a time where Bowe would take in a normal civilian as one of his patients, though he doesn't treat them any differently from his usual agents or administration members that passes by.

About

Personality

Dr. Bowe is as calm and debonair as he looks. Treats everyone with a smile outside of his office and tries his best to be equally as polite as he cares about his public appearance the most. Working in the hospital for years made him very tolerable to the most unbearable people and rarely his patience runs thin. If someone ever attempts to anger him outside of his office, then he'll simply laugh it off.

But he's not afraid to turn into someone else whenever that door to his office or the examination room is closed. His blood would boil whenever they doubt his knowledge. All of his empathy that he formerly had would wash away and sometimes would become aggressive to scare his patient - especially when they blame him for the pain they're not able to bear or they've fallen ill. Rarely he does become mad to his civilian patients... but sometimes he won't think twice with the Prodigal Agents and would throw punches. He's not afraid of their complaints, knowing that he's confident in his ability to fix whatever he broke.

Trivia

  • He's known more as a physician, but he is also a rheumatologist.
  • There may be so many joys he had in his entire life... but none of them beat having Chinese takeout for dinner.
    > Salt & Pepper chicken wings and Lo Mein noodles are his favorite.
    > Every year for his birthday he'd spend his lunch and dinner on Chinese buffets.

    > Actually has been actively learning Mandarin and Cantonese just so he can properly converse with the employees that's serves him his meals.
  • Soda addicted
    > His favorite is Dr. Pepper and Sprite.
    > Has strictly been drinking diet soda only since the regular brands had affected his health badly years ago.

    > Will treat himself a Big Gulp (30oz) if he feels like he's earned it.
  • Actively exercises because sometimes he still has bad food habits.
  • His office is strictly under Prodigal territory so it can't be freely accessed for him to use for his civilian patients.
    > Hence he would actually bring his own equipment and visit his (civilian) patients comfortably in their own home. If he cannot visit their house for personal reasons, then he'd have to invite them over into (one of) his homes.
  • Has two homes
    > One is strictly for his patients to come for their appointments whenever Dr. Bowe cannot enter theirs for personal reasons. It only has one bed, but it's got a gym for him and his clients to use, but also an examination room.
    > The other his own personal apartment. He lives by himself and rarely invites anyone over.
  • He is considered a member of the Prodigal. However, he is neither one of the normal members. He simply works for them as their doctor, considering the group's agent is prone to getting hurt... alot.
  • Will likely mix up the terms cervical, cervix, and clavicle and it embarrasses him endlessly.
  • He still cannot pronounce Sphygmomanometer. Neither could I.
  • Will charge your medical examination for free if you tell him a funny medical joke.
  • Afraid of needles? Too bad.
  • He's the best physician in the Prodigal's private hospital. Although he doesn't get along with the any doctors, inside and outside of the building as they don't appreciate his methods.
  • He's not afraid to punch someone.
    > He'll patch them right up anyways.
  • Keeps a skeleton in his closet. Literally.
    > He's kept his own skeleton model that he's studied with since he was a medical student.

Relationships

Emil  [ Friend ]

Emil is a man filled with knowledge. Dr. Roselo knows more about the human body more than what Bowe does but sometimes... the amount he knows is almost... scary. Lincoln for sure knows that Emil has an underlying ambition but he doesn't want to involve himself by asking for the purpose and what his end goal was. Regardless, he's studied with him since he first wanted to get into the medical field but even the years he's known him - he's still an enigma and difficult to figure out. He rarely sees him physically considering they're friends but it doesn't surprise Bowe at all if he disappears for a year or two.

Ouro  [ Patient ]

Working for the Prodigal brings him the most interesting clients. He's never seen a man covered in golden scars and even then... he has a hard time trying to tackle something that's completely unknown to him. But he'll admit it's something different and he's willing to take in Ouro... though he has no choice in the matter because no other doctor wants to deal with his circumstances. Regardless he takes his time with Ouro and he's happy that the man listens to his advice and has been actively taking his prescriptions.

Emery  [ Patient ]

Dr. Bowe is the one to officially diagnose Emery's situation with Elois. He's never met anyone with disassociative-identity disorder before but Bowe makes sure that such mental changes wouldn't affect her physical body. He gets along very well with Emery but dealing with Elois is a challenge on its own. There's so much that a physician could do to help her mentally, so he often requests that his friends and her other acquaintances to take it slow whenever Elois comes to play.

Terry  [ Patient ]

Terry is a civilian that Dr. Bowe regularly meets because of how often he gets sick. Despite the amount of examinations they've been through... Lovejoy's body is completely fine and healthy. The fevers and small colds are simply common but Link sometimes thinks that there might be something that he's missed... but he can't figure it out. Regardless, he regularly tells him to stop with the unhealthy foods because of the constant fatigue he'd have but... he's not sure if the man listens to him or not.
