Generate 5 Questions For The OC Above
Using this generator, setting the range as 1-36!!

How this works is each person posts a character, then the next person replies with five randomly generated numbers that correspond to questions about them!! Hopefully that makes sense; I thought it would be a cool idea ^^

The questions I'm using are by jennystahl on tumblr, which you can see here. I might update this thread with more questions in the future, and suggestions are welcome too!! Now onto the actual questions...

🃏 Arkadiy 🚬 mmmeatbat

6, 27, 7, 23 and 14 for the guy of all time :)

v yaaas what a perfect roll spine we love a good arkadiy "i miss my wife and regret most of my life decisions" voytov lore dissection

2. Which social class did they belong to growing up? How did it affect them? Upper middle class; if such a thing existed back in USSR, that is. As much as I'd love to stick to the whole "self-made man who started from the bottom" myth, let's be real: you cannot be a CEO of an international company and not have a particular kind of family background that fueled your initial ambitions a little bit; it's not necessarily about the money, but rather about valuable connections. While Arkadiy did chew his way up through hard work and dedication, he wouldn't be able to achieve nearly as much as he did without the right people putting in a good word for him here and there; and he was granted this opportunity, thanks to his family. Arkadiy comes from a reasonably prosperous bloodline of metallurgical workers/engineers; nothing too posh, but he had it way more comfortable than the majority of his peers. He received an exceptionally good education, and he developed a taste for a selection of fine things – "great literature", nice clothing and high-quality food; these things were definitely not one's first priority back then. People were tying to survive in this country. Though, Arkadiy was never really spoiled either, for his older folks' stern attitude made it impossible for him to grow up into an indolent bastard. He's far from being a snob, and he'd hate to be mistaken for one.

27. What matters most to them right now? A good question, considering that "Arkadiy Toyhouse AU" is actually his post-storyline iteration. This man has seen shit, done shit, and got severely traumatized by shit. Considering his current... not the most pristine mental health situation, he just wants to unwind. He wants to settle down with his equally traumatized criminal husband (these two aren't even legally married but they dgaf and neither do I) and calm the fuck down. He knows full well he's never truly coming to terms with his experiences and his regrets. But he really, really wants to try.

31. What’s something they were sure would happen in their future but didn’t? Oh, this one's easy. Considering this man's notoriety and his vast list of remarkably bizarre wrongdoings, he'd surely think he'd eventually either get imprisoned for the rest of his life or, you know, die. The latter is one thing Arkadiy constantly anticipates – not because he's particularly prone to negative thinking, self-sabotage, or anything of the like. He actually loves this whole "living" thing, and he especially digs the "aging and dying without external intervention" part. For some weird reason, this man seems to repeatedly get out of life-threatening scenarios in one piece – for the most part. Perhaps this reocurring, odds-defying luck is subject to change. One day.

32. Did they get married or have a family? Why? If otherwise, why not? Ah, what a great question for this guy in particular. Yes, Arkadiy was married – once. Actually, he had two drastically different motivating factors to proceed with the whole thing: "it's expected of a man my age/status" and "I love this woman to the point of mindless worshipping and dedicating my entire life to her". He was madly in love, he was obsessed; yet obsession seldom results in a happy outcome. He's been divorced for precisely two decades now; and he's still hurting, no matter the amount of achievements earned nor the importance of bonds freshly formed. The pain got less severe with time, and the entirety of his married life is now but a faint memory. But he remembers her, still. And he will make sure not to forget.

34. Are their friends still a part of their life? Are there people they are no longer in touch with, or newly important people? Strangely enough, there is at least one person who's managed to tolerate Arkadiy for more than two decades; that being his friend Zakhar whom he got acquainted with all the way back in uni. Despite the fact that Arkadiy is the biggest extrovert known to mankind, he's quite reserved and selective when it comes to forming close bonds; yet these two get along splendidly both in terms of friendship and business, with Zakhar being the more down-to-earth and observant of the two. God this man needs a TH profile, he's so fine. Of course, there is quite the number of people whom Arkadiy eventually had to cut ties with – or vice versa, for rather trivial reasons. As for new beginnings – well, there's Renat; while they've known one another for no more than two years, they appear to be each other's biggest source of support, comfort, and unconditional acceptance. There may be other equally vital connections to speak of; but we won't. Oversharing was never Arkadiy's thing, after all. :]

HELLO SNATCHING

27, 31, 2, 32, and 34!!

15. What is their current occupation, if any, and how did they end up there? Do they enjoy it?
Still just being used as a walking database, though nowadays she's like the old lady librarian that everyone's got in their town. She does enjoy it, but she feels like she can't work to her full potential.

21. What hobby or pastime of theirs do they consider most important to them and why?
Journaling is extremely important to her. She usually writes things down to remember them and will constantly look back to just learn about herself, especially the oldest entries.

29. Are they content with their future situation? Is there anything they would change?
Due to forgetting most things, she doesn't have much thoughts for the future. She's living in the present but stuck digging into her past.

31. What’s something they were sure would happen in their future but didn’t?
She thought her life would be a lot easier. Her job is very simple compared to the other gods, and she was always prepared to help everyone out when they needed it, so she thought her life would stay this way. Now people find the state she's in very depressing and she's frustrating to talk to, so most tend to avoid her.

33. How do they react to the changing times? Are they adaptable or do they reject modernity?
She would be very adaptable, however she seldom leaves her library in Purgatory. So, she doesn't really have to try.

Audemus pocketbrows

Here’s the numbers but I arranged them in ascending order to make it easier to reply to:

15, 21, 29, 31, 33

7. Who were their friends during childhood? Are they still in touch with them?
Audemus really only had one friend during his childhood, and that was a servant boy named Guillame Delos that worked for the Emilios' noble household. Guillame and Audemus were very close, so close to the point that the two were in a fledgling "relationship". They went their separate ways when they were 15 years old; Audemus went to their intended final destination of Theracarcus while Guillame diverged from the path and decided to become a farmhand in the surrounding region instead. Three years later the two would reunite when Audemus desperately needed a friend to help him in a dark time in his life. In the aftermath, the two made a questionable decision of sleeping together despite the fact that Guillame had since married. Since then their connection has been spotty, largely due to some lingering awkwardness and guilt shared between them (as well as physical distance).

17. Do they have any enemy factions or groups? Why and how are they opposed, and how do they feel about it?
Beyond Audemus' coworker Didact Gawain Vix (fuck that guy), Audemus does have some very real, very dangerous enemies. Living a sedentary life in Theracarcus, the Didact of Necromancy secretly offers clandestine resurrection services to those in the know... for a fee. Divine resurrection is a rare and powerful thing, and fickle in its applicability. But clinical resurrection is not so discerning. So Audemus can functionally reverse assassinations, and that predictably makes assassin guilds pretty unhappy.

Audemus has a bounty on his head placed there by underground organizations that see him as a threat. People sometimes attempt to cash out that bounty, but none have ever succeeded due to the combined might of Audemus and Kai's prowess and forethought. But this is just one example of many—Audemus is a man with more enemies than one might think. Owing to his already paranoid and distrustful nature, he has long grown accustomed to having a target painted on his back, and takes it in stride much as he does with everything else.

18. What kind of people do they usually interact with? Who are their friends, the people they look up to/trust, and who are their “associates”?
That's quite a long list of people. Despite being relatively asocial, Audemus is nonetheless a public figure with a large number people he manages and oversees, as well as those he works alongside. Audemus has 8 primary peers--the didacts (department heads) of the other schools of magic at the University of Theracarcus. Then, as a head of department, Audemus has a decently-sized pool of employees he oversees: both administrative staff as well as professors hired. Audemus also sometimes works with the Didact of Medicine operating out of the lesser College of Theracarcus, as well as some of her professors. He is sometimes called upon by the director of one of Theracarcus' largest hospitals in order to assist in certain surgeries or to give his opinion on particularly challenging cases. He also works with the city morgue, as is part of his legal responsibility as Didact of Necromancy. I could keep going but suffice to say Audemus has a very large pool of associates.

Much smaller is the pool of people that Audemus actually would call 'friends'. Chief among them is Audemus' best friend, an ex-prostitute by the name of Brandy Summers who saved his life when he was 18 years old. Audemus also considers one of the other didacts--Didact Bran Ruy Erverda--to be one of his closest friends. Rozia Saxe, the butler of the Emilios villa in Theracarcus, is an old friend of both Kai and Audemus, hence why they chose to hire her as head of house staff. And then, of course, there is Guillame Delos.

19. What is their current relationship with their family?
Audemus' parents are both deceased, but prior to their assassination [see "has keeping his backstory private ever actively hurt him"] Audemus was not in contact with them. As for his current family, you can read about his relationship with the current Emilios family unit in his bio and in a bit more detail in his links.

22. What kind of place do they live in?
Audemus lives in an expansive old villa on the edge of the great cliff in Theracarcus' Hightown. It overlooks the sea. In the past I have described it as "an odd mix between a Parisian apartment, a Greek and Tuscan villa, a 'tropical-modernism' Sri Lankan house, and a Malibu mansion. In-world, its exterior is not unusual for Theracarcus [and resembles coastal Greek architecture], however Audemus' taste in interior decoration is quite specific, so the first level underwent heavy remodels. The second floor, where most of the bedrooms are, still maintains much of its original wood flooring and some softer splashes of color." The floors of the lower level, meanwhile, are almost exclusively black marble polished to perfection. Basically all of the walls of the villa are a stark white, and ornate paneling features in many places alongside built-in bookshelves. Many of the bedroom balconies are connected via narrow, steep stairways, and tiny gates have been installed to discourage bothering others.

Felicia Makimsov CountryHorror

I got 7, 17, 18, 19, and 22!

5: Born and raised in WhiteCliff, which is one of those neighborhoods that is technically part of a big city but far enough to technically be it's own town. She still lives there, though the crime rates are not ideal it's not like she could or would want to move.

16: As far as groups, uh she has her other party members(who in canon she met at one of those community center therapy groups). After having to solve magic murder the crew decided to get into magic crime fighting except trying to refrain from. The fight part. Felicia has many feelings about them, while she's glad to have a third thing she can do with her time she does worry about the others willingness and or reasons for doing this.(As far as the birds care, the groups current pacifism is fine by them given how Cthonic everyone's myths are. Felicia shall still be led to those who's destiny is inevitable and inescapable, and that's their main concern right now.)

19: It's kinda eh???? The last time Felicia had anything important happen with them was when they found out she joined a pyramid scheme, and what followed was everyone being too busy for anything until someone died(with their debts being passed on to the remaining, again and again). She's still holding onto the guilt, and while her remaining family members would be elated to hear from her again, she does not have the confidence to know she cause more burdens with no relief.

32: Felicia feels too busy to even think about what she would want out of marriage and family, and she doesn't want to pass on anymore debt to anyone so she's just put the idea off the table for her and other's sake. Also I haven't figured out what the fuck her sexuality is so

36: She doesn't want to leave any loose ends when she dies, and she's got a lot to tie up. It's a good motivator against completely giving up, but kinda conflicts with her own mythical tie to it. Sure, it doesn't say that she'll die, but it's hard to be satisfied with closure when that closure is someone kicking the bucket.

Luna fanitoon

27, 25, 3, 30, and 26!

Please ping me :)

4. What was the most common argument between them and whoever raised them?

TW: Mention of child abuse

Luna lives with an adoptive family now because she had abusive biological parents, who often called her worthless and said she shouldn't exist - she never argued back because she was too young to do so and they were really scaring her. Her adoptive family never argues with her to keep her anxiety down.

8. What was their childhood/teenage bedroom like?

I don't give my characters enough detail to have a description of their bedrooms, but to sum it up she has a nicer bedroom with her adopted family than she did with her biological parents. That's all I can provide lol

14. How do they fit into their story? Give a brief summary of the effect they have on the events around them.

Her appearance completely changed the lives of her adoptive family for one thing. Her adoptive parents had only planned on having two kids, Scout and Bean, but they couldn't bring themselves to put Luna up for adoption after nursing her back to health, so they adopted her. They know of Luna's traumatic past and have therefore adapted their behaviors to whatever works best to manage her anxiety.

21. What hobby or pastime of theirs do they consider most important to them and why?

Playing games with her adoptive family! Because of Scout, the whole family is often pulled into different games, and most of the time Luna has a lot of fun playing them. In fact, she enjoys it so much that Scout often lets her come up with her own game ideas for them to play, which makes the idea of it that much more important to her.

28. Briefly describe their life in the future, regardless of how far into the future this is.

Her anxiety from her past with her biological parents will continue to affect her for the rest of her life, so she likely won't get very far being by herself. While she'll find it a little easier to trust others, she'll be afraid of going out into the world alone, so it's likely she'll stay at home with her adoptive parents and/or search for a partner.

(Question numbers are in ascending order.)

1. Briefly describe the way their parents grew up, and how it affected the way they raised them.
Soyer and Şeyma had pretty average childhoods - at least, for people born in the Ottoman Empire in the 1820s. Soyer's father was a soldier like he was, and so was Soyer's grandfather, and so on, which explains the militaristic way Soyer raised Adem and his brothers. Şeyma's mother taught her how to read coffee grounds, and Şeyma herself hoped that the tradition would pass on to one of her children. Both of them grew up religious, and thus they raised their sons religiously.

7. Who were their friends during childhood? Are they still in touch with them?
Adem was a solitary child, and the only people he considered 'friends' were his elder brothers Talat and Erman. (Tamaydın was either at school or in the army during Adem's childhood.) They still kept in touch and corresponded with each other through mail.

8. What was their childhood/teenage bedroom like?
Adem had to share his bedroom with his elder brothers until he was about 15 when he attended a boarding school. He decorated the walls of the bedrooms he had with his artwork. (During the Russo-Turkish War, he had to leave his dorm in Çengelköy when everyone in his school moved buildings, a change he wasn't too pleased with.)

17. Do they have any enemy factions or groups? Why and how are they opposed, and how do they feel about it?
In his home country, he may have run into some trouble with some members of the government or otherwise important people due to his outspoken hatred for Sultan Abdul Hamid II. In Dristol, he runs into trouble with either King Merrill's men, Queen Theresa's co-conspirators, or the Dark March, depending on which route the player takes in The Tin Jubilee. In both cases, he would have felt it was worth it, as he did the right thing.

20. Do they have a partner? How did they meet, and what’s their relationship like now?
He has a wife, Gizem. They met in 1890 in Constantinople, where he worked as a teacher and she lived in her entire life. They're now happily married with two children. He's hopelessly in love with her, and she's absolutely devoted to him. Their relationship is one of mutual (intellectual) respect. He has exponentially more brain cells after meeting her.

Where did they grow up? What was it like? Were they happy there?

He grew up with his dad’s friend (emily) he was very happy, emily was a very good parental figure to him. Vector was also there sometimes (he couldn’t raise him due to mental health issues)

What kind of people do they usually interact with? Who are their friends, the people they look up to/trust, and who are their “associates”?

Andy and vector! Only ones they want to talk to 90% of the time and the only two he completely trust. Andy is oliver’s best friend while vector is his dad. He considers everyone else he knows as his acquaintances (besides Isabelle, he hates Isabelle)

Do they have a partner? How did they meet, and what’s their relationship like now?

No. He’s aroace✨✨✨✨

Do they belong to any factions or groups? Why and how did they join, and how do they feel about it?

No, they dont belong to any group per say. More like a found family they are forced to be with. They where dragged into this group because Andy was friends/knew with some of them (also bc they are the only ghost that haven’t completely lost their minds)

What did they dream of doing when they grew up? How and why did it change, if it did?

When he was a kid his biggest dream was was to become a entomologist! Getting taken into a lab and dying didn’t really help achieve that though-

Winnie DreamyDinosaur

EyesOfTheVoid You got 5, 19, 20, 16 and 10!

I like that they're all about her childhood in some way, that part of her I should flesh out more

What was their childhood/teenage bedroom like?
Sort of like the typical British bedroom in a countryside cottage, but her room was just absolutely littered with plush toys. The colours of the cushions and bedding were a plaid light green and white, she had a desk with a little statue of a gogoat and a radio. It also had a lingering smell of oak and peanut butter, even though Winnie never ate peanut butter as a child. Her daughter now has that room and the only thing that’s changed is now the room is blue because it’s the kid’s favourite colour.

Where did they grow up? What was it like? Were they happy there?
She grew up in a sort of countryside-esque, grassy field area called Southeast Nullax, it’s basically a massive field with the northeast side of it surrounded by trees and forestry. Despite its size, there were rarely any other pokémon besides her family and a herd of farm bovines, so it was mostly quiet there. It still is and, considering that she still lives there, I’d say she’s pretty happy and content with living in Southeast Nullax. The weather was constantly nice and a bit chilly, although when summer hits, it gets really hot and she can not handle that.

Which social class did they belong to growing up? How did it affect them?
The equivalent to a middle-upper class in her region. She was(and somewhat still is) ignorant of the fact that not everyone had the luxuries that she and her brother had, but she would often treat her friends to them by frequently inviting them over at her house to watch T.V or play legal copies of 64 games. That and she didn’t grow up with millionaires, just parents who made above average wages.

This did make her unable to adapt to a drastically different lifestyle, especially since she still lives in her childhood home and had gotten her first job in her mid 20s(most of her friends and brother had gotten theirs much earlier, like mid-teens early).

Briefly describe the way their parents grew up, and how it affected the way they raised them?
Her mother was born in Hoenn and came from a really large family(she was a middle child) who moved to Nullax when she was a young teen. She had a nice, but noisy as hell, childhood. Her father was born in Sinnoh as an only-child to a wood-carving gallade who loved to collect gemstones, with the love sort of skipping a generation because Winnie’s dad didn’t understand the appeal at first.

They were both raised decently. Her father didn’t have a lot of toys or time to do anything fun, and her mother often struggled getting attention from her parents since she had a lot of siblings, so they worked hard in order to give their kids all the love and attention they wanted, both though being there and getting them whatever they wanted within reason.

What was the most common argument between them and whoever raised them?
It was more of a concern that she didn’t like to hear, although she did argue to her parents about it. it was her over-reliance on them, especially since her brother rarely ever had the same issue. Even when she ended up having to take care of them as a young adult after they got seriously ill, her lack of a job and work experience made them worry about how well she’ll do once they’re gone.

Voidlus let's go with 2, 6, 18, 24, 30.

Here you go! (Question in ascending order. Content warning for teen pregnancy and ableism for Question 12.)

5: Where did they grow up? What was it like? Were they happy there?
She grew up in Sworstoke, a quaint seaside village in the district of Ospomere. Ospomere is known for its power plant, and she always sees its lights illuminate the night sky. Even though she claims that her hometown wasn't posh enough for her liking, she had found herself happiest there, as she got to explore nature and collect seashells in her free time. Her closest friends also hail from Ospomere, which is also why she loves living in the district so much.

8: What was their childhood/teenage bedroom like?
Her bedroom has always been pink all over. Pastel pink walls, pinkish off-white furniture (which included a bed, a desk, a dressing table, a tall cabinet, and two chairs), pink carpeting, pink bedsheets, pink pillows... you name it. The only thing that wasn't pink was the hardwood flooring and the pastel green drapes that covered the windows and balcony. She also decorated her bedroom with stuffed toys when she was younger, though she hides most of them away when she becomes an adult (save for Constance, the worn-out stuffed bunny she has had since she was a baby.) Her dorm room in secondary school wasn't as well-decorated, though she still brought Constance and some of her pillows along to brighten up the place.

12: What are some of their biggest regrets?
She has too many regrets to name, but two particularly stick out. One was when she had to terminate her pregnancy with her ex-boyfriend Pip in her third year of secondary school, and another was the way she insulted her best friend Henry (who was intellectually disabled) when he was still alive.

25: If someone mentioned their name to someone else, what would they immediately think of (i.e. defining characteristic, appearance- or personality-wise)?
They'd either associate her with her outspoken and harsh attitude or her pink-dominated wardrobe.

35: How do they feel about getting older and eventually dying?
She has a fear of mortality derived from her father's death when she was 4. This was part of why she is so ambitious and hardworking; she wanted her life to count for something before she had to meet her demise. She learns to confront her mortality as she ages, however.
