Shazia "Shazza" Shafiq is a British-Pakistani pure-blood witch, fourth-born daughter of Hamad and Junaraaj Shafiq, and younger sister to Aman, Syeda, and Eshaal, and older sister to Baheerah, Shaista, Maryam, and Naseem. Shazia attended Hogwarts from 2004-2011, and was sorted into Gryffindor. Shazia is known at school for being a party animal, regularly costing her house points, but making up for it for always being a good time. Shazia's grades were never excellent, but she did well enough not to ever really be an issue, though she found it hard to care about schoolwork too much when there was always fun to be had instead. Although many of her sisters during school were friendly with each other, Shazia had an abundance of friends and didn't spend a lot of time with her sisters as a result. Now that she's graduated, she's taking what she's calling a gap year of traveling to find herself before she settles down with a job. Realistically, Shazia is traveling around the world with some school friends (mostly from Gryffindor), and partying all around the world.

Shazia was born to pure-bloods Hamad and Junaraaj Shafiq, and grew up as the younger sister to Aman, Syeda and Eshaal--and later, became the older sister to Baheerah, Shaista, Maryam, and Naseem. Shazia's upbringing was a little unusual; despite having magical parents, muggle-things were quite commonplace, as her family ran a muggle-goods import shop in Diagon Alley, which they live on the upper floors of. In addition to being homeschooled with Junaraaj, Shaista and her family also tried to stay grounded and learn, as well as appreciate, muggles.

Shazia was sorted into Gryffindor upon attendance to Hogwarts, and although she was the first of her sisters to be sorted into Gryffindor, she couldn't help but think that it was the perfect fit for her. She made friends with everyone with ease, and even had friends among Slytherins although she was very competitive about the house cup despite not playing any sports herself and often losing her house points causing trouble. Shazia often snuck muggle treats and knick knacks into the school, and whenever there was a party with butterbeer involved, Shazia was there to help drink it.
