Eshaal Shafiq is a British-Pakistani pure-blood witch, third-born daughter of Hamad and Junaraaj Shafiq, and younger sister to Aman and Syeda, and older sister to Shazia, Baheerah, Shaista, Maryam, and Naseem. Shazia attended Hogwarts from 2001-2009, and was sorted into Hufflepuff. Eshaal was never particularly well-known for anything during her time at Hogwarts; she was so shy she rarely spoke up in classes or made friends, but she was somewhat known for being the loner who was good at art. Mostly Eshaal hung around with her older sisters when she could, but otherwise, she was content being on her own. Eshaal doesn't really know what she wants to do with her life now, but she's working at her parent's shop and expects that she might take it over one day since Aman and Syeda have other interests--and her younger siblings probably do, too. She isn't sure if she wants that, but for now, she works at the store full-time, working on art when there aren't too many customers around.

Eshaal was born to pure-bloods Hamad and Junaraaj Shafiq, and grew up as the younger sister to Aman and Syeda--and later, became the older sister to Shazia, Baheerah, Shaista, Maryam, and Naseem. Eshaal's upbringing was a little unusual; despite having magical parents, muggle-things were quite commonplace, as her family ran a muggle-goods import shop in Diagon Alley, which they live on the upper floors of. In addition to being homeschooled with Junaraaj, Eshaal and her family also tried to stay grounded and learn, as well as appreciate, muggles.
