Despite coming off as mature, Dae lazes around a lot and can be sometimes too forward, though that part of him is seen as an endearing charm. He's also honest to the point where he'd even tell stories where he's in the wrong or where he embarrasses himself. Dae is also a generous man and would help out anyone in need.
He's also good at taking care of kids and playing with them, since he had babysit his cousins and dealt with his younger brother. He doesn't think he can take care of them 24/7 though, since he wants some alone time too. Dae can also be goofy at times, like how he'd cartwheel in the middle of the members' solo lives or just run in the background to make the members or fans think there was a ghost. He'd goof around with Min the most, since he's someone Dae is most comfortable with.

Honestly, it was okay. Of course I found it hard, but I got through fine. The trainers I got were decent, and the people I was around with were okay too. Maybe it's because I didn't talk to people much, but I was okay with my training overall.
Min. He explained how we got along in his interview, so I don't really have much to add. I'm pretty sure we were inseparable as soon as we became friends. We revealed a lot of personal things about ourselves to each other, and we always make a lot of promises.
It's a wilted rose. I just thought it looked cool and it fit me. I like the aesthetic of flowers, and I even have a tattoo of a gladiolus. I don't know if I'll show it though, hmm... Maybe another time.
Watching dramas and listening to old music. Sometimes I'd play games, but these days, I haven't been interested in any new games. I love visual novel games, so I pick games based on how interesting their plot is to me. Oh, and I also do karaoke.
This is going to be embarrassing for me, but there was one time where I was sitting on top of a coffee table and didn't think much of it. I thought it was strong enough for my weight since Hyunwoo was sitting on it too. But then as soon as I rested on the table, it broke and my members were looking at me in shock. Min and Yuu immediately ran up to me, and later on the other members helped me up. Andy and Hani love to tease me about it, saying that my butt is so big that it broke the table.
Daehyun's family came from humble beginnings, with his parents struggling to take care of themselves and their two sons, one of them being Daehyun. One of Daehyun's uncles happened to be a movie director. who was looking for a teen actor in his latest project, and Daehyun volunteered to help him. Daehyun's uncle has always supported his family, so Daehyun wanted to return the favor by helping him out. Daehyun's uncle accepted the help and that was when Daehyun began his acting career at age 15. Because of how much money Daehyun's family was gaining thanks to Daehyun's career, Daehyun's family slowly started getting greedy, forcing Daehyun to take any role even if it was uncomfortable for the young boy. There were times where Daehyun had to film inappropriate scenes, but knowing how much his family depended on him, Daehyun continued to act no matter how uncomfortable he was with the scenes.
Growing up in this kind of environment made Daehyun closed off. Daehyun wasn't always a social kid, but he could approach others and start a conversation with them without a problem. Now that he was in the public eye and was forced to act scenes inappropriate for his young age, Daehyun didn't want to talk to anyone with the hopes of them not recognizing him. Daehyun then went and got a karaoke room for himself to relieve stress. He didn't want to be with his family, since he knew very well what they wanted from him. With the way his family treated him these days, Daehyun couldn't stand to be in the same room with them. Daehyun poured all his heart out when singing in the karaoke room and had to stop in the middle of a song to take a break, since he was hyperventilating.
From then on, Daehyun continued going to karaoke alone and it would always help him get his feelings out. He got into KPOP later on when TV shows would play them. He decided to research more into the music scene and that's when Daehyun's love for music sparked. The more he fell for music, the more he wanted to be in the same position as those idols. Of course, what goes on behind the scenes isn't pretty, but Daehyun still wanted to at least try auditioning. There was a company currently accepting auditions in Daehyun's town, so Daehyun decided to go there and audition. He wasn't expecting to pass the audition since it was his first time, but to his surprise, he was accepted. Daehyun had to tell his parents what happened, and his parents were and unsupportive. However, Daehyun managed to convince them, saying he'll still continue acting while training to be an idol. He also convinced them to let him live in the company dorms, and his parents decided that after the two dramas he starred in finish, then he'll start living in the dorms.
Daehyun agreed and after the two dramas ended, he began living in the dorms. He was still a quiet kid, but he managed to make friends since a lot of the trainees were his age. Daehyun was always surrounded by a few teens and adults when filming, so the environment for him was great. His first friend was Minsoo, who approached him because he was watching his favorite drama. Daehyun then began wondering if Minsoo ever watched the dramas Daehyun starred in, which scared Daehyun as he was never comfortable with the scenes he had to act. When Minsoo suggested a drama to watch, Daehyun's heart sank when he saw the drama Minsoo suggested was a drama that showcased Daehyun's sexualized scenes. However, Daehyun agreed to watch it as he didn't want to explain to Minsoo why he didn't want to watch it. He wasn't ready to open up. The first half of the drama was tolerable, but as soon as one of the scenes started playing, Daehyun darted his eyes and Minsoo noticed Daehyun's shaking hands. Minsoo skipped the scene and Daehyun felt relieved. Knowing that Minsoo understood what Daehyun was feeling without Daehyun having to explain made Daehyun feel like he could open up to him.
After debuting as an idol, Daehyun has gotten more requests to act in dramas and while he is comfortable to take in mature concepts nowadays, he hates having to look at his younger self being filmed inappropriately. He even mentioned in interviews how uncomfortable he is to see his younger self being sexualized and how no adult stood up for him at the time. Thanks to Daehyun bringing more awareness to this issue, more actors began to open up about how they were sexualized in their career at a young age, and this caused a large backlash in the drama scene. Daehyun's past sexualized scenes were cut off and while it doesn't stop people from reuploading the scenes, Daehyun's just glad to know that he was heard. Daehyun's parents then called him after he revealed publicly how he felt throughout his acting career, and they apologized to him. Daehyun forgave his parents as he always wanted to hear them listen to him for once, and knowing that they also decided to fully support him in his idol career made Daehyun happy.

Both of their thought processes were mature and they had a lot in common when it comes to dramas. No matter what role Dae took, Min would support him no matter what, which would motivate Dae to do the best he can in acting. In Dae's eyes, he sees Min as a hero and his motivation.
Dae was intimidated by Hani at first due to his appearance. Hani had a mohawk at the time, so Dae had a negative first impression of him. However, as he got to train with him more, Dae got comfortable with Hani and they would playfully push each other (and Hani keeps falling due to Dae's strength). Every time they tease each other, Dae was always the one winning the small fights. Most of the time they'd be found tussling with each other.
Dae didn't have a good first impression of Hyunwoo since the first time Dae saw him was when Hyunwoo argued with a trainer. The trainer was yelling at Hyunwoo for not doing well, which made Daehyun think that Hyunwoo wasn't following instructions when it came to training. However, he later found out from Min that Hyunwoo has always been berated by the same trainer no matter what he did, and it wasn't justified. Dae ended up talking to Hyunwoo and began to understand him more. The two of them are good friends now and Hyunwoo would visit Dae whenever he wants to hang out.
Dae didn't know what to think of Andy first, and knowing that Andy knows him because of his dramas made Dae feel awkward, but he was relieved that Andy didn't bring up the uncomfortable scenes Dae had to act in. Dae and Andy love to pull stunts when it comes to performances, so the two of them work well together as performers even though Dae isn't part of the dance line.
Dae and Yuu met since Hani introduced them to each other. Whenever Yuu felt scared or anxious, Dae was always there to comfort him. Dae always stays up late, so when Yuu asks him if he's up late at night, Dae would message him and call him to give him support. Yuu always felt like a burden when asking for help, and Dae didn't want him to feel that way, so he was always there whenever Yuu needed someone to talk to.
