Yuu can be a bit of a klutz and can be dense at times. He's also fast when it comes to improving his skills and finishing tasks. Yuu doesn't like having arguments, so he'd do anything to avoid arguing with anyone. Despite how loving Yuu is with the members, he doesn't give initiate physical affection and only does it when his members want to hug him and such.
Yuu is the type of guy to be satisfied with the bare minimum. He doesn't ask for much and would even have the least amount of food on his plate. He's fine with that as long as his stomach is filled (though the other members don't like it when he eats less, especially since he's the skinniest out of all of them, so they make sure Yuu gets enough food on his plate).

- Out of all the members, Yuu is the skinniest. However, he still has some muscles and his upper body is much defined.

- Yuu prefers to be called Yuu instead of Yuki, since people would mistake him for a girl when they hear his name.
- Yuu knows how to draw and would even edit MESSIRE's photos. Combined with Hani's video-making skills, MESSIRE's self-filmed MVs always look high quality.
- Yuu would sometimes chase bugs at night whenever he's bored. One time he posted on his SNS that he was chasing a beetle at 1 AM.
- Besides Dae, Yuu is also a good actor. More specifically, a voice actor. He's never had any voice acting roles, but he has imitated characters' voices and always managed to deliver the lines perfectly.
I've trained for 3 years in this company and I did my best to study Korean. Everyone was nice to me and I got along with the members too! Knowing that I'd debut with the 5 of them makes me happy~
Hani hyung was the first trainee to befriend me~ I was really timid back then and he was careful not to scare me off. We also happened to share the same training room and I practiced my vocals with him. To be honest, I didn't know if he liked me or not, so I was scared to approach him outside of practice. But there was one time I stopped him from straining his voice any further and he bought me takoyaki as a thank you. Since we weren't close before, I was surprised he knew my favorite food, but it seemed like he knew about it from other trainees.
I picked it because of my representative color. There isn't really an interesting meaning behind it, but it's okay~
I get homesick sometimes, so I'd watch videos. Most of them are informative videos, storytimes, and reviews. I'd also watch anime, though most of the anime I'm interested in are old.
When I went out playing soccer with Andy hyung, I fell trying to kick the ball and scraped my knee. Andy hyung helped me go back to our dorms and couldn't treat my scrape properly before we went back, so Dae hyung treated my scrape for me. Every time I let out a whimper, Hani hyung would glare at Dae hyung. This memory stuck in my mind because of how moved I am by the members.
Yuki always had a passion for music, he'd listen to song regardless of the language. As long as it sounds good to him, he didn't care. Growing up, Yuki's parents always expected him to have high grades and take business in the future, but Yuki had other things in mind for his future. He's always been an ambitious kid and he always loved anything related to art and music. When Yuki discovered KPOP, he thought about becoming an idol in Korea. When his high school days were coming to an end, Yuki made sure to do a lot of research and happened to find a company opening auditions next month. This made Yuki determined to head to Korea and audition. Yuki had already packed his bags, planned his flight, and even decided to live with his friend who plans to live in Korea. After graduation, Yuki was having a phonecall with his friend and his parents overheard the conversation. They demanded an explanation from Yuki and he explained his goals to them. Yuki's parents didn't want him to leave the country, and this became one of the biggest arguments Yuki had with his parents. Yuki then left the house without saying goodbye to his family.
After Yuki settled in Korea with his friend, he practiced for his audition and when the day came, he went and auditioned for a company. Yuki hasn't heard from them in a week and he was anxious to know what they thought, but he soon was accepted to be a trainee and celebrated with his friend. At this point, Yuki understood Korean enough, but he's not confident in speaking the language. The company barely had any translators and they don't always have the time to assist Yuki, so Yuki had to study on his own and ask help from his friend. Yuki has always been a shy kid, so he barely interacted with the other trainees. But he can't stand seeing people in pain (emotionally or physically), so he's always been quick to help people. When MESSIRE's debut was announced, Yuki then wondered what his parents have been up to. He left them without saying goodbye and the last interaction they had was their big argument. Yuki felt incredibly anxious, but after a week of the music video's release, Yuki then received a phonecall. He didn't check who was calling him and immediately put the phone to his ear. The first thing he heard was his parents saying sorry.
Yuki's parents apologized for trying to discourage him from pursuing his dreams, and they also apologized for not calling him even though they were so worried. Yuki began bawling when his parents explained everything, and he repeatedly kept saying sorry, saying he could have apologized to his parents sooner. Yuki felt so guilty, but his parents forgave him and said they'll keep supporting him throughout his career. Nowadays, whenever MESSIRE would go to Japan to perform, Yuki's parents were always there no matter what. They'd ask for Yuki's autograph every chance they get and would also get to know the other members. Yuki's parents were relieved to know that he has people who would always have his back, and that they don't have to worry too much about him. Yuki's grateful that he got to communicate with his parents properly and improve their relationship.

Hani is Yuu's best friend and Yuu would always reciprocate his affection. Yuu would craft miniatures for Hani since Yuu loves to give gifts to his friends, and Hani has a collection of Yuu's miniatures. One time, Hani asked Yuu if he could make miniatures of him and Yuu together. At first, Hani played it as a joke, but Yuu actually made them. Hani was so surprised and thankful that he didn't know how to thank Yuu, and Yuu told him an amusement park date was enough to thank him. Since Hani is concerned about his clinginess, knowing that Yuu would return his affection made him happy.
Yuu and Hyunwoo were always in the same training rooms during their trainee period, so the two of them became close. Whenever Yuu messes up on his Korean, Hyunwoo would correct him and help him on his pronounciation. One time, Yuu was writing a letter and he asked Hyunwoo if he could check for mistakes on the letter. After confirming the letter is fine, the next day, Yuu gave him a letter. It was the same letter Hyunwoo checked and it was a message for him, thanking him for being his friend. It was Hyunwoo's birthday that day, so it made Hyunwoo cry and Yuu hugged him.
Yuu doesn't tease Min as much as the other members, if anything, he listens to Min the most. Though Min is a bit scared of him due to his chasing bug hobby. Yuu once showed Min a cicada in their practice room and Min almost passed out. There was also another time where Yuu showed Min a cobweb in one of their practice rooms, and even though there weren't any bugs around, Min was terrified and Yuu had to clean up the cobweb.
Yuu and Andy would teach each other their native languages, and there would be times where they'd tried to speak each others' languages and end up confusing each other. There was one time where Andy spoke Japanese to Yuu but accidentally said something sexual, which freaked Yuu out and Andy had to tell him he didn't mean what he said.
Whenever Yuu needs help, Dae is the first person he'd ask. Dae is always quick when it comes to replying, so when Yuu would ask him random questions, Dae would reply in a second. Dae also has this tom and jerry dynamic with Hani, so whenever the two of them mess around like usual, Dae would go to Yuu asking him to save him from Hani, and it'd always annoy Hani.
