Newton Ducote's Links
Gotta say, this is probably one of the most normal people I've met - much more comfortable around robots and AI than I am real people I guess. Seems nice enough too, pretty friendly.
Seem he had a rough life, but he seem happy, a little, it's hard to explain. But he seem friendly. Pal was fun to talk with too!
No hard feelings, yeah? It's all part of the game.
For someone so small, you pack a lot of power. Impressive, really.
I kind of focused most my attack on him.
His shield and proximity to Ripley was making it complicated. Hum. I feel bad about the amount. Mostly the times I hit him with my staff. I felt sort of patetic about it. But he was pretty kind no hard feelings about it at all. He didn't even poke fun about when I hit and KO myself at the end. I hope to get to work with him rather than fight him someday.
Looked a little lost during the fight. Doesn't seem too confident in terms of battle. I'm sure they'll get better eventually.
Ah
I can't say I've seen a guy dress so flamboyantly. Despite looking so dainty, he seemed a big asset to his team with those boosts. Especially that scissors kid. Bet he'd be decent out in the field too.
I guess housing's tough for everyone. Wasn't expecting someone so young to end up rooming with an old fart like me.
She's very talkative. Half the time I'm not sure what she's saying, but she makes good company.
I didn't see him for half the match, but I saw his handiwork. Kid does well with a crossbow and those spells. I take it he's been with the company a while. Stuff like this is probably easy for him. I'll have to team up with him again some time.
Casper would laugh as soon as you mention Newton, the first thing he things of is him getting obliterated by a pair of scissors before even getting to move during their battle. "Really fuckin' patient dude." he would team up with him again.
You'd think someone with wings would fly more, but I get the sentiment of walking with everyone else who can't fly.
Did well helping herd that titan, though uh...dismounting it with Bohoja was quite the show.
Nice to see a fellow tinkerer around. I've gotta swap notes with this guy at some point, I bet I could learn a lot from him.
✦ VIEWS AS: Coworker/Potential Friend ✦ :: "I...might admit that I am a bit starry eyed about this one. He seems to be of a similar mind set to me, and I'd love to speak further with him. I just, well, need to scrounge up the courage to approach him outside of work. I've never been particularly good at that..."
Unpredictable, but in a good way, has an intelligence there that's refreshing, seems to be uncommon among some of the beacon folks I've been teamed up with. Wasn't expecting her to climb up the side of that titan, she's got guts for sure.
I'm staying out of the whole cupcake debacle, but I'm also curious how she's feeling about it.
Entry 1: He sad and mopey. Has a cool robit thing though. Like an R2D2. Actually thinking about it he looks like a star wars actor or something. Maybe he metaacting? People in Star wars are like happy one time and then never again. Maybe this guy just needs to see the good in the world instead of focusing on some family's space drama. If I slide a playlist of world's best pop music do you think his robit would play it for him?
Other than his demanor, uhhh i dont really remember much of what he could do during our titan time. His robit screams loudly. Would be awesome at raves
Quiet, but has a good head on her shoulders it seems, and good help during the whole evacuation. Needs to take better care of herself and get some more sleep though, she always sounds so tired.
What a trooper. Think we've got some similar struggles during this whole evacuation. From one survivor to another, I get wanting to keep busy and out of your own head, you're not alone kid.
Doesn't fail to impress with all that condensed strength. It's fun watching the reactions of the locals seeing a little bunny pull more than her weight in scrap, and I'm not surprised she managed to withstand that hit from the colossal.
Who let this guy join beacon? I thought this company was a rescue and protection operation. And they hired on a killer cannibal? Odd choice if you asked me.
Despite the bloodlust, he came in useful with those portals though.
I'm not a cannibal, I'm a man eater >:T
Makes sense the colossal likes him, druids and that natural connection and all. It's quite fascinating. He was big help convincing it to aid us in protecting the people still here.
Makes me wonder though... What would happen if he came to my world? Would he be able to bring some of the nature back?
A thought for later - there's too much to be done here still.
From the artificer's house to the dying world... He's been a nice teammate to work with. At least, as far as I've seen, he's been one of the reliable ones out of the usual, hah... I think I've seen some of the pictures he shared from his own world though- it's something... Wonder if there's something that could be done for there...
Wasn't sure about her at first, thought she was a bit too cocky, but damn she's got the power to back it up. Did a number on those constructs with that fox spirit thing. It's pretty impressive honestly.
Despite the over-confidence, she's still pretty level headed, and a team player by what I've seen.
I suppose he’s really smart? Atleast that’s what his entire kit gives off with the sci-fi stuff and the floating robot- oh and being able to make things from junk. I guess he isn’t a talker from how quiet he is most of the time.
Didn't get to interact with him much yet- but he is like, a pretty smart dude. Got a flying machine buddy too, wonder if he's ever seen Ruri... Oh right, better keep us updated on how the plant dragon, Odtos? Is doing, hah.
I saw them from a distance, but I didn't really have a lot of interaction with them.
[Resistance Assistance - May 2023] - The lesser of the two evils for sure during this mission. He's a wildcard, but he's a team player. As reckless as the rocket launcher stunt was, it payed off, good on him for the creative thinking.
The more I saw, the more I'm sure that the kid's got a good head on his shoulders - he's just a little misplaced. Geez doesn't that sound familiar...
Kinda reminds me of some of my old crew even.
He sounds AND LOOKS so sad, like a big ol' wet blanket or something. Yeah, he's responsible or whatever, and kinda helpful, good with futuristic tech shit, that's kinda neat, but I bet there's more personality in there somewhere. Maybe I can shake that old mop and get some of that out ?
[Resistance Assistance - May 2023] - Another robo kid, cyborg? Something like that. That storm of floating swords is wild, and her skills with them are impressive. Feel bad for her getting so exhausted though.
I'm also convinced she must've bought out the merchant's entire stock of chalk given how much she was using.
Another tinkerer. Interesting. Also tried to keep people in line. Not his fault others didn't listen. Might be nice to interact with more.
I don't know much of their story, but that doe-eyed demeanor and their second-guessed efforts tells me this kinda work is all still quite new to them. They're a far cry from any hardened soldier or mercenary. On one hand, it's a bit refreshing to see, but on the other - well I can't help but be a bit worried about what may happen once that wall breaks.
Hope they find the confidence soon, and keep that light heart as long as they're able.
I know I'm not the best Beacon member yet, but I'm trying. I'm not very fast, and I'm not very tough. But I want to get better. I'd like to think I'm better than my first mission, but I still have a long way to go. Especially if I want to get that wish. I NEED to get that wish. I don't want to forget...I can't forget...
[Resistance Assistance - May 2023] - Whatever magic trick they used on me was one hell of a boon. Being able to do so much at once was a rush. I need to keep em around more often haha, imagine the work I'd get done!
Glad they stuck with me to take out those drones, it would've been a lot harder without their help, that's for sure. I hope we get to team up again some time.
[Get down, Mr. President! Campaign] I gave him hasty mist on a whim after noticing he managed to quickly recreate something mimicking Dot's noises and I really do not regret. The guy and his weird floaty thing were a huge help the whole way. I see them as a reliable ally.
