Lia's Links
Having a relationship was scary enough. Having an ex is even scarier. Having an ex who is just better than you in every way, more attractive, more successful, cuter, smarter, and doesn't need you in the slightest and will never think about you again is... the worst. Lia was the first proper relationship Rag had for the longest time, and it was nice to feel wanted, and feel loved, and special, regardless of your flaws.
But as time went on, that feeling felt less and less, and her eyes told Rag that she was bored. Unimpressed. She could find better. And the paranoia set in, and Rag felt like Lia had found better, but didn't want to say that because she was overly fragile.
She hates to say it, but every day she thinks about Lia, and every day she wonders what she could have done to feel good enough for her, and by extension, for anyone. Rag hasn't been with anyone since then, and she lies awake at night wondering how many people Lia has been with since they broke apart. It haunts her.
Oh, the magician-cultist alligator! She was fun! Elec enjoyed the talk, and the lil magic show, and Lia was fun to draw, too! She hopes she liked the sketch! It was also.. as nice as it was bizarre to hear that Elec's apparently considered their god's friend. Though she didn't have enough courage to straight up ask if they really, ACTUALLY consider him a god. Maybe in the future..!
Well, shit, that's someone Taph's seen more than once in their life, now. AND they seem to be thinking! Maybe barely. But maybe more than they let on. Who knows.
As much as it felt that in library Lia was intent on just teasing Taph, maybe she thought they were being stuck up or something (...well, yeah, for reasons, but, you know), in the beach bar she was alright. Pleasant company, even. A bit loud of Taph's liking, but Lia kinda reminds them of Iva, minus the 'reckless art student', I guess.
This woman sure was one without a filter on her mouth. At the library she seemed to be taking the squirrel head on. Luckily nothing got too bad, though. Outside of that she seemed nice enough, but honestly, in a few weeks, Dione'll probably have forgotten her. That's how little she actually got to know the aligator.
Orrin's run into her a couple of times now, and has left each engagement feeling generally... conflicted?? but with a mostly positive view of the enigmatic, charismatic stage magician, and he feels like a lot of his conflict comes from the fact her banter is so... bold. so brash. After all, it's not every day that someone jokes around about using their powers and a signature to forge cheques from him! But, on the whole, she seems pretty chill, and he imagines with a little more time he'll get on the level with her sort of charm.
Well hey now, there's a head o' hair you can pick outta a crowd! Tha's a purple pony.
Lia has to admit, she kinda likes Eden. Like, admittedly she doesn't know much about him - he seems kinda... straight forward, 'nice', maybe not the most excitin' of people. Buuut well, he's more than willin' to buy a girl a few drinks, and if anything, she can get behind that.
Heh, well now Lia was... certainly an interesting meet-up, even if it was brief in the grand scale of things. Girl is.. certainly bold and flirty, and Eden's not gonna lie and say that doesn't interest him? Although her confidence was also a little intimidating - not that he'd ever tell her that!
Well ain' he an interestin' one? Andile admittedly isn't really Lia's type per-say... but she has to admit, she doesn't mind teasing him a li'l. After all, she loves it when she can get 'em to stutter and blush, and boy ain't he the shrinkin' violet? Definitely some good fun company.
More importantly though, he's evidently smart. Man's a scientist... and he has some INTERESTING inventions. She just hopes he decides to get back to her. If she can work some magic, she's pretty certain there's a fair amount of cash that can be made for information like that...
