Darrion is undercover as a detective and combined with Sybil's skill, he makes sure that a lot of crimes the family commits are not easily discovered. He also has a flair for the dramatic and it shows whenever he dons his mask and goes out to the underground with the other fighters in the family. He is a practical and charismatic as well as not easily intimidated.
He is very self-assured in himself and does not appreciate being doubted. He is also very loyal to his family and if any harm to them (especially Ira or Cana) meant blowing his cover, so be it. Very few things get under his skin and even when it does, he is quick to end the conversation/argument/fight. He is a very good liar and easily gets along with almost everyone around him; his all American looks and attitude hides the amoral bastard he can be.
Darrion Dante is Ira's right-hand, having been there at her side since she took control of the Dante Family. One would assume that there would be friction, considering she killed his father and took over as the next Head, but he had agreed to it, having other passions and wishes for his own life than to live under the shadow of his weak old man.
He lives two lives, one as a detective the other as the Dante enforcer Pride. These two worlds work well together; his partner and several members of the force are in Dante's pocket and he is able to give information to Ira and other family members. He also uses his connections to cover up crimes and messes and no one is the wiser. He is also a very skilled fighter and is the only sin who fights in the front lines without any powers. He is that assured of his talents and capabilities. He won't let anyone take that or his position as Ira's right-hand man, not even the dog, Tristan, can take that spot from him.
That is his Pride.
 【Envy: Cana Dante】Precious Little Sister He adores his little sister and is very protective of her. Though he is not the most affectionate brother, he often brings home treats and if she has nightmares, he reads to her. He hates the fact that she became a sin and is often nervous when they are on missions together. As long as she is far from the action as a sniper, he feels a little more secure. When Ira and Cana fight, he often stays out of it, though if Ira loses her temper, he is the first to stand between her and Cana. He would do anything for his little sister, even though that means he spoils her. |
 【Greed: Edward Dante】A Better Father Figure Darrion has known Edward for a long time and while they both recognize Ira as the head of the family, Darrion is used to Edward treating him with the same amount of respect Ira gets. Darrion also sends Edward information from the police that would be useful to use against rival gang families in negotiations and contracts. They are close allies and partners as they are the ones who spend the most time outside of their Dante lives; Darrion has a mole in the police force and Edwards as the main voice for in meetings with lawyers, banks, and other family Bosses. |
 【Gluttony: Orsin Dante】Needs More Backbone Darrion considers Orsin to be a fantastic younger brother and enjoys his company; however he also sees the large man as weak willed. It annoys him that Orsin is almost the exact opposite of his sister and wonders why the two are so different. He does appreciate Orsin's good nature and while he doesn't respect the man, he does sure like him. Everyone likes Orsin. |
 【Wrath: Ira Dante】Boss/ May Have a Crush Darrion admires Ira's flame and always found her to be exotic and powerful. This is almost like a secret worship and a crush; he is very uncomfortable with her vulnerabilities and instability, preferring to ignore her flaws to just admire her strength. This is the main reason he never pursued her; she was a fire to admire, not to get close too for he did not want to get hurt by her nor deal with the mess he knows she has inside her head. He is somewhat possessive of Ira and he will never admit his feelings. He is proud to be her right-hand man and is not afraid to be direct with her if he feels she has become soft; another reason why Tristan is a sore spot for him. |
 【Sloth: Sybil Dante】Stop Spooking Him! He is intimidated by all of those drones and avoids being in Sybils monitoring room. However, he does appreciate working with Sybil and she has often saved his ass on missions. He swears that he can outlast her in watching horror movies, but he never seems to make it. Doesn't stop him from trying though. |
 【Lust: Tristan Dante】Ira's Dog Darrion is very jealous of Tristan's relationship with Ira and often derides Tristan as a needy, manipulative, pet. He often ignores Tristans' presence whenever he can, only acknowledging him with anger when Tristan latches onto Ira or lords his relationship with Ira over Darrion. The two only seem to get along with missions; Tristan's speed and close combat fighting styles go well with Darrion's shooting and gun-fu capability. Both are graceful fighters in their own right and on a professional level, they are okay together. On a personal level, not so much. |
 【Seraph: Eva Jones】Need to Get Rid Of Her She is a nuisance; he makes sure than she is seen as an obstruction to justice and a violent vigilante. He is also not very happy about Eva's ties to Ira; he would prefer Ira would kill her than just humiliate her but it seems that once again, Ira's personal ties override his caution. |
 【Selena Miranda】A Friend in Need He helped Selena when she was at her lowest, getting her out of tough spot, using his connections as a cop to help her get into rehab and used his connection as a Dante to get her a bartending job at one of their classier bars. They are friends and he visits her bar for a beer. |
