Description

Silver is a pretty hotheaded teenage boy that always seems quick to take action. He seems to be a new Pokémon trainer, having acquired a starter Pokémon from Professor Elm recently, but his competence in battling is rather telling. He has great confidence in his small team of Pokémon, all of them supporting each other. For the most part, he’s rather laid back! He does seem pretty quick to anger, though.

Known Past

Silver has some sort of connection to Team Rocket, as was indicated by Neo Team Rocket’s Proton. The Rocket Executive mentioned an “absence” Silver had… perhaps he was once a part of Team Rocket? Whatever his connection with the Rockets may be, he very much opposes them now.

During the Comic

Silver picked up a starter Pokémon, Eli the Charmander, from Professor Elm’s lab on the same day that Ethan started his own journey. As is custom for people to do under these circumstances, the two of them became rivals, although Silver did suffer an immediate and swift defeat. Since that point, though, he has made considerable progress, acquiring both the Zephyr and the Hive Badge, at least earning the latter before Ethan did. His starter evolved into a Charmeleon, and he caught an energetic Igglybuff named Zoey. He encountered a Latios named Joshua at the Ruins of Alph; the two made it sound that their journeying together is a temporary agreement though. With Ethan, Silver stopped Neo Team Rocket’s raid on Azalea Well, and a few days after that, the rivals fought again, although the end result was unchanged.

Silver chose and obtained Eli at Elm’s lab, and Silver doesn’t regret it! He clearly places a lot of confidence in Eli.

Zoey — Route 29 (page 25)

Silver caught Zoey very early on his journey, and she’s stuck with him since! Her chaotic energy goes well with his.

Joshua — Ruins of Alph (page 28)

Silver met Joshua at the Ruins of Alph, and the Latios joined his team! It seems that the two made an arrangement, and Joshua may not stay on his team forever.
