Description

Thia is a rather reserved and introverted girl who tends to avoid interaction, either to preserve her mysterious charm or to keep her social anxiety from flaring up. She becomes flustered quite easily when talking with other people. She is sweet, gentle, and kind hearted, and she tries her best not to upset others, but she always worries she's doing something wrong. Despite this, she is a surprisingly skilled fighter who displays a consistent level of confidence and finesse whenever she enters combat. Why she joined the team isn't known; she avoids talking about herself.

Thia has had to fight Apparitions before meeting Ethan’s team. Other than that, nothing is known about Thia’s past.

During the Comic

Thia was seen watching Ethan’s team at the Ruins of Alph, and she soon after joined his team after saving them from a deadly Deoxys Apparition. Since then, she has continued to prove herself to be a very formidable and agile fighter, although sometimes she seems unsure of herself. She has also provided some information about the nature of Apparitions, and has speculated that they can remotely force Poké Balls to lock.

Known Moves

Spacial Rend

"The user tears the target along with the space around it. Critical hits land more easily."
Thia manifests extremely potent energy and launches it in a crescent that seems to cut through anything. She can weaken the energy such that it won't tear through her target.

Revenge

"An attack move that inflicts double the damage if the user has been hurt by the opponent in the same turn."
Thia fills her limb with powerful energy to deliver sudden forceful blows, often with her maw so her opponent doesn't see it coming. Using her maw also allows her to quickly pivot and counterattack after dodging.

Aqua Jet

"The user lunges at the target at a speed that makes it almost invisible. This move always goes first."
Thia uses water powers to propel herself, usually by shooting it from her feet. She can also boost the force of her kicks this way.

Ominous Wind

"The user blasts the target with a gust of repulsive wind. This may also raise all the user's stats at once."
Thia expels spectral energy from either her hands or maw, often to keep an opponent at range. Usually she utilizes this move to mix up her attacks or to otherwise gain a positional advantage.

Thia has yet to take any damage, and she is the only notable Pokémon character with this distinction.

Thia's sleeve pattern comes from her dad. The diamond pattern on the back of her maw is from her mom.
