Wingedclan is a large group consisting of about 50+ cats and built on a strong foundation of community, sense of duty to protect and provide for each other as well as a responsibility to nurture the nature which feeds and shelters them.
These cats a pilgrims and travels on a relatively decided path yearly as they visit places of deep importance to their history as well as to avoid the harshest of winters. Ancestors and keeping the clan's history alive is of deep importance and they practise many traditions and rituals along their migration.
Origin • Wingedclan was created many generations ago when a group of Corvidclan cats branched off and left due to holding different views and wanting to seek better fortune elsewhere.
Birds • Akin to Corvidclan they too believe in spirit-cats abilities to visit and see through birds. Wingedclan deeply respects all birds, hunting and eating them is frowned upon and only ever done in dire times such as famine. They do not cooperate with birds on the same level as Corvidclan but still enjoy avian company; at times leaving scraps to feed them in good favour.
Amiability • Being open to assist and welcome cats in need is an important principle in the clan. Few members are hostile to passerbyers and injured strangers are taken in to be healed without question. Their moral goes that if a clan is incapable to provide for the injured and old it entails of insufficient structure that can be improved upon rather than the fault of any individual cat.
Visual trait • A well known indicator for cats of Corvidclan ancestry are small, diamond or feather shaped markings. They are commonly found on the face area or the body. A few cats with this trait includes Midnightstar, Avianstrike and Magpiewing.

Returning "home"
One stop on the long route which the clan travels, the furthest point away from their largest camp, lies within close proximity of Corvidclan territory. Because of past disputes and Wingedclan's dissapproval of Corvidclan's moral stance they avoid any risk of interaction. To Wingedclan's dismay many important and historic places lies within their borders. Magpiekit once got separated from her family near it's perimeter and happened to run into Crowkit, unknowingly long-distance blood-relatives; the two became good friends for a day.
Sky gazers
Wingedclan has a long tradition of knowledge about the sky, weather and stars being passed down to any cat willing to learn, the title given is reffered to as "sky gazer". With the long, yearly travels the ability to predict weather changes, seek directions and read starclan signs have been of crucial assistance. Even if one does not aquire the title, most cats learn how to smell for unfavourable weather such as rain, storms and snow from an early age. Healers holding the star gazer title are deeply respected as they receive clearer and more frequent visions and prophecies from their ancestors, as well as being the ones to most often hold important, divine rituals.
Offerings
Varying rituals are performed as they visit divine places along the way. Some of these include leaving offerings or holding rituals by grave sites of passed members, battlefields from big fights and spiritual historic shrines where close connections to starclan are often held. Certain places also hold Land Wights; an essence or spirit who impacts the wellbeing of surrounding lands. Offerings such as prey are left to satisfy it and to uphold a good relationship so that the lands may contuinue to prosper.
Leaving offerins during funerals are also of tradition, prey as well as items ranging from feathers and talons to oddly shaped stones or items of other materials are buried alongside the dead. Healers may also sing and pray together during burials and even births with the intent to bring extra protection.
