It comes with a cost, though - the bigger the damage on her body to heal, the bigger the damage her mind will take, which CAN kill her (or at the very least permanently turn her into a vegetable).

Serious, neutral. She's deadpan and straight to the point in everything she says, with her fair level of sass from time to time. Comes off as stoic and strict due to a mix of her own quiet nature and her inability to speak properly. Generally calm in a peaceful situation, but turns very violent as soon as she or the people she cares about are threatened in any way, be it from a dangerous threat or a comment she didn't like. For a long time struggling to control her own impulse to hurt others in revenge, she's trained long and hard to teach herself self-control, and nowadays it's much MUCH harder to make her go out of her way to punch someone's nose into their skull. She's forever done with everyone's bullshit and follows her own set of morals and rules, and despite everything is more than willing to teach and train other people who need to learn self-control the same things she's learned and done. Her patience levels are ten times higher towards children and people she perceives as such, going out of her way to be a good guardian and guide for those she sees as family. Despite all her family being found family she'd do anything for them and protect them with her own life if the situation called for it. However, outside of leadership positions she's shy and awkward and would rather be on her own than be surrounded by strangers.

"Take good care of yourselves and run"

Run. Hide. Those are the last things Darilyn remembers before having woken up in the outer city of Tanim in an unknown house, her whole body covered in bandages and rapidly healing burn wounds. With her regeneration ability steadily breaking her mind in order to heal her badly damaged body, she quickly understood she had lost the ability to speak or express emotions, along with her memory having been wiped out and seeing and hearing things that weren't there. With no ID or concrete recollection of anything but her first name, she rebuilt her whole life from scratch in Tanim. Out of her fuzzy memories she picked 'Ryter' as her surname, aware that it was most likely not the real thing but with no other option. Not long after she met Puckett Tolle, who took her under his wing and brought her to the military training grounds to help her. There she was trained, given a new ID, retaught most basic lost knowledge and gone through therapy, staying there the next three years until she was good enough to be on her own once more. With this newfound strength she got the little she had of herself together and applied for a job at Dulcet Laeta, fighting and defending her way up to department manager within short time.

Since then she's helped Pip start a Rebellion, unaware of their own ties with the past one... Until battle after battle and an unfortunate sequence of events led to her recovering her lost memories and past.

WHY REBELLION?

There is a lot wrong with the way they live, and being all part of a giant science experrent is definitely one of them. She wants to free the people of Tanim and let them know what really is going on right in front of their noses.

Due to the damaged state her mind is in and the physical damage her whole body took, she speaks very slowly, slurring her words. If she tries to speak faster it tires her out very quickly and she can only let out loose words and incoherent sentences. If she overdoes it she can strain her vocal cords too much and end up unable to talk altogether for a while.
Horribly allergic to garlic.
Overheats and gets sunburnt extremely fast.
She used to have a weird habit of placing a hand on people's heads or patting them.
Can eat a lot before being full. Will usually eat far more than it would be humanely possible in a single meal, as well as actually enjoying rare meat, eugh.
