Lore (may be updated as story progresses): After the death of Diggerstar, Sootpounce is named leader. After announcing Diggerstar's death at the next gathering, tensions only continued to grow amongst the nations. After an argument between Cranesight, Sootpounce watched in horror when Dappleclaw was killed. In response to the war, Sootpounce tentatively allied with Sun Nation, but cared more about Bog Nation's safety than any other nation. This led to many Sun Nation members being attacked by Pine Nation members when there was any threat to Bog Clan.
