Lylia is a dynamic girl who speaks her mind and likes to chat. She loves tailoring and making clothes, which is her family activity; she's actually the one who makes new outfits for her teammates every two years, with help from her mom. She also loves eating, mostly vegetables and meat.
Her first motivation to become a caravanner was looking for her missing father.
Background
Lylia was born in Tipa in a tailor family. She's an only child, living with her mother and her paternal grandfather.
When Lylia is a kid, she's a cheerful little girl and learns tailoring young enough with both her mom and dad, finding enjoyment in it. When Lylia is 7 years old, her father decides to become a caravanner to protect her and the village. When Lylia is 11, he goes missing during a caravan journey. His last letter to his comrades and family says that he wants to find a way to make the world a better place for them to live in. They never get any news after that.
This loss hits Lylia and her family hard, especially because they don't have any answer about what happened to him. With her family's support, Lylia goes through the years and keeps learning tailoring, which helps her keep her mind busy and gives her goals she likes. When she's 15, she starts thinking about becoming a caravanner herself, to be able to travel and try to find clues on what happened to her dad. She thus starts learning how to fight and use a spear, and when she's 17, she leaves for her first journey.
Lylia travels with Weylin, Finn -the captain- and Gan Noo -Luu Kah's older brother. The year after, Finn and Gan Noo leave and Ramsey and Luu Kah join instead. During those three years, Lylia searches for his dad and clues about him in every town they visit, not telling anyone about it. But at the end of her 3rd travel, after going through a lot of towns and still finding nothing, Lylia breaks down and ends up talking about it with Weylin, Ramsey and Luu Kah. They try to offer her support and make her feel less alone in the quest.
After those first journeys, Lylia wants to keep traveling, but this time trying to make finding her dad a secondary motivation. When Délia, Roy and Linitaa join at the start of the main story, she actually enjoys being there to coach younger caravanners.
Lylia may be a victim of Weylin's trolling but she sees it as a fun game and complicity more than anything. When their first traveled together, they took some time to click with each other because of their different tempers, but they complete each other well in battle because of their opposite fighting styles. At the start of the story, their trust in each other is already pretty much set.
Lylia first notices that Ramsey likes battle challenges and is curious about many things, making her compare him to Weylin. She dislikes his reckless side during their first year together though, but after overcoming those times Lylia ends up liking Ramsey a lot, convinced that he's a warm and smart person, and being comfortable with him.
Lylia likes to bicker with Luu Kah mostly as a game, but she can be actually grumpy because of him. While their relationship is turbulent, at the end of they day, Lylia does like Luu Kah because she can see he's actually good-hearted... as long as she doesn't spend too much time with him.
Lylia likes to spend time with Délia because they can easily have small talks. Lylia also likes her obvious kindness and her liveliness, and her being a younger caravanner makes Lylia want to be a mentor of some kind. They're both sensitive persons and confide in each other, and are open to physical signs of affection.
Similarly to with Délia, Lylia clicks with Roy quickly because of his kindness and care for others, but also because his confidence issues makes her want to help somehow. She likes to take a big sister role of some sort with him, and can also show physical affection.
Lylia gets to know Linitaa more when they first travel together. She thinks that Linitaa has something mysterious to her, which makes her curious and want to know her. Lylia also thinks she looks cool and pretty, and then gets closer to her through their adventures, and their common loss of a parent.
