Redward DeLobb

ℹ️ Basic Info

• Redward DeLobb is a senior JPS agent who supports Jaycee, Cat Canada and Wayne. He lives with his two brothers Yelliot and Bluey inside the dilapidated Jaycee Pawman Squad headquarters building in Sillycon Valley USA.
• Redward is extroverted and loves being everyone’s buddy, or being the fun “Uncle Red” when interacting with kids. He often helps his two socially-awkward brothers in public situations.
• He is very physically active and loves to play sports. He was once a college football player, volunteer firefighter, and former gym teacher before becoming a JPS agent.
• He has a “hero complex” that has gotten him into dangerous situations in the past. Combined with prior sports injuries, his body is racked with aches and pains. He never removes his sunglasses due to eye damage.
• Redward and his two brothers Yelliot and Bluey are of a strange, indeterminate species that they don’t even know. They all have strange, random abilities that are unknown to them. These abilities only trigger when it’s funny or inconvenient.

🎭 Personality

Redward DeLobb is very outgoing and friendly, treating everyone like his buddy until proven otherwise. Redward also loves babysitting kids, becoming the fun “Uncle Red”. Due to his friendliness, he is sometimes too trusting of strangers and does not notice their ill intents. 

Redward loves being active and moving his body. He plays sports of all kinds, with American Football being his favourite. 

He has a positive “can-do” attitude and is too eager to help others with anything, even if he doesn’t fully understand it. Redward’s specialty is helping others with fitness regiments. He detests helping people who are too lazy or have defeatist attitudes.

This little guy has a “hero complex”, often throwing himself into tough situations that leave him injured. 

Calling him weak and short, or bullying his less-outgoing brothers Yelliot and Bluey will send him into a rage.

🧬 Biology

Redward DeLobb (and his brothers Yelliot and Bluey) are of a strange species that nobody in the Tooniverse can identify - not even themselves. All three of them posses tails, “X”-shaped marks on their bellies, have no toes, and have 5 digits on each hand. They do not have sexual characteristics and do not need to wear clothes. Redward and his brothers each have hidden abilities of their species that they may or may not know about. They only trigger in funny or dramatic situations. All 3 of them are stretchier and more durable than the average Tooniverse denizen. 

Redward is physically stronger and more athletic than most, even in his middle age. However, due to prior bodily injuries, he is less durable than his two younger brothers. He may experience random acute pain when exerting himself. 

Redward’s eyes are extremely light-sensitive due to prior damage. He never removes his sunglasses, not even when he’s sleeping. If his glasses are removed, he is instantly blinded by normal light. He is also blind in dark environments, wearing glasses or not.

🔍 History 

Redward DeLobb is the oldest brother of Yelliot and Bluey. The three of them were adopted and have no idea who or where they came from. The DeLobb brothers lovingly support each other, but their different personalities can cause arguments and drama between them. Their teamwork impressed Ella Pawman and she employed all three as agents. 

Dr. Hans Sans Panzer was fascinated with the brothers’ strange biology and enhanced durability and would get them to test dangerous experiments. Redward was always eager to test any experiment without much question. Redward’s participation in a “light displacement” experiment caused catastrophic damage to his eyes, forcing him to wear sunglasses constantly.

Redward and his brothers worked on Dr. Hans Sans Panzer’s ill-fated “Deus Ex Machina” machine and kept it a secret from Ella. Once the project caused the deadly “Sillycon Valley Incident”, the DeLobb brothers expressed extreme guilt over their involvement. They chose to keep it a secret and live in the decaying headquarters building, keeping watch over the reality-breaking effects of Dr. Panzer’s volatile experiment. They do odd jobs that barely keep the lights on, but are hopeful that Jaycee Pawman can get the organization to rise from the ashes.
