| Short description Adam and Taris' younger daughter. Rude girl with creepy and cruel tendencies. Acts like little embodiment of satan and does many disquieting things with a smile on her face. The only things she wants is her mother's constant attention. It seems like it's impossible to convince her to be nicer, acting like this just brings her fun and nothing except Taris can't stop her. But Taris barely tries. Alva doesn't respect adult people other than her mother and sees her biggest idol in her. She lives in her own weird world and has many imaginary friends. Makes people afraid of her and feels proud of it. She is the main reason why the neighbors keep saying the Froilands are really lame at raising their children. |
| Personality Alva seems to be extremely rude since very beginning and never respects anyone but her mother. She likes to do pranks and acts in creepiest way, but for her it's just always funny. She enjoys hurting people and animals mindlessly, showing absolutely no empathy. Surprisingly, she is VERY sensitive if it comes to hurting Taris - she hates when someone tries to treat her badly, she can even hurt someone who says bullshit about her mother. It often looks like there is no boundaries for her. Alva is somewhat sadistic and doesn't understand what's wrong with being like that. Alva has a lot of imaginary friends and has no interest in befriending real persons. She, her imaginary friends, Taris and Uncle Satan are enough for her. She doesn't want to start school and hates when her mother doesn't have much time for her. Unlike her sister, she never gets afraid of strangers and likes to tease them too, as she always sees them as vile. When she visits neighbors, she can easily make huge mess in their rooms and even ruin their houses, so people rarely invite the Froilands with their both daughters, because everyone around already know how Alva is. It seems impossible to make her listen to adults. She loves sharp objects, often breaks the mirrors just for fun and collects sharp glass shards. When she gets totally mad, she tends to use them to hurt someone. She can get extremely jealous, hates when people don't fulfill their promises and has troubles with understanding others' jokes. No one wants to have an affair with Alva. She rarely shows sadness, she's either in constant rage or laughs meanly. She's not gloomy and cheerless either, she actually likes to talk a lot (especially enjoys talking creepily and mysteriously to make people wondering and trembling). She keeps saying that satan is her uncle and she loves satan, but in fact, she barely knows who Satan is and doesn't understand the concept of religion. However, she seems to be interested in occultic things. She's quite strong and agile for a girl at her age and can bite very strongly. Even some adults are afraid of her because she does many things that can be considered as cruel - and no one can't understand how Adam and Taris could raise such weird child. Alva clearly has obsession about her mother and likes to imitate her, dress like her or even do some awkward make-up. From the other side she is still able to acts nicer if SHE REALLY WANTS TO. It happens very rarely, but yeah, she can be if Taris will be demanding enough. Towards Taris herself, she acts like an angel. The only one stranger she starts to respect is Alfard's daughter, Talvi - when she meets her for the first time, she's quite fascinated by her for completely unknown reason. Who knows, maybe Alva actually has some sixth sense or something. She always seems happy when she meets Talvi and it looks like Talvi has some influence on her. Although Taris is aware of her daughter's horrible behaviors, she usually does nothing to stop her from being such a little devil and lets her doing whatever she wants. Sometimes she tries to gently rebuke her, but it's just not enough. She's the only person who has actual impact on Alva, but she doesn't make it better - Taris is just way too afraid of becoming a harsh, cruel parent, like her own mother was for her, so she avoids scolding her children and is very meek for them. Taris is too soft for Alva and Alva is perfectly aware of that. She doesn't care about the rest of her family, she ignores her father, saying she simply doesn't need him, and annoys her older sister. She really dislikes males and acts truly horrible when some members of Amaralf's team visit her parents' house, unless Taris does something about that. The person who Alva hates the most is obviously Alisa, her grandmother, who basically ruins Taris' life since she was child - and of course Alisa doesn't treat her granddaughters in a good way, too. Alva feels burning hatred towards Alisa and wishes her death in the most serious way. At some point, she starts to see murdering Alisa as her main goal and plans it very thoroughly, but it takes some time until she... finally tries to reach her aim. But she does. Alva feels like killing this mad old hag is her destination and everything in her own life will change for better after Alisa will be dead. No one has done anything with this devilish grandma for so many years, Adam and Taris never managed to get rid of this monster, so maybe SHE would do. |

| Relations Taris - her mother, the only person who Alva is able to listen to, admires her deeply and wants to be like her. Alva sees her mother as the most perfect figure in the world and always wants to follow her, but for some reason she seems to be excited with the accusations made about Taris - like she actualy would want her mom to kill someone, to feel even more proud of her. Hates when Taris isn't able to spend time with her and is very jealous when she sees her with Adam or Adrianna. Even though Taris has impact on Alva, she is literally unable to give her children any kind of serious punishment, so Alva keeps doing her own things, knowing her mother won't stop loving her no matter what. Taris often worries that she's not good at raising her and feels bad about it, but her own mental state doesn't let her go out of it. Taris killed one person just to save Alva when she was a baby. Adam - her father. While he loves her as much as Adrianna, she definitely doesn't love him back and keeps doing everything to make him in trouble. Alva states she doesn't even admit to him as her father and dislikes him for no particular reason. I don't like my dad because he's not my mom, that's it. She's jealous of that mom spends so much time with him. Adam clearly has no impact on Alva and can't control over her, no matter how much he tries. She never listens to him and likes to hurt him, knowing that she's not gonna get any punishment for that anyway. However, when Alva goes too far with hurting her father, Taris finally can become truly angry at her. Their relations seem to get a bit better with time, but Alva will always remain Alva. Alisa - her grandmother, the person Alva hates the most in the world. Killing Alisa before she'll turn 10 is her main goal. Alva doesn't even know about EVERYTHING that Alisa has done to Taris, but she still finds plenty of reasons to hate her. It seems like Alva can sense more than anyone if it comes to her mother's relations with other people. Alisa states she hates Alva as well and despises her a lot, thinking she is really the child of Satan or something. She used to blackmail Taris and Adam that she will abduct Alva as well, just like she did with Adrianna before, trying to force them to let her live together with them. Alva had some opportunity to witness Alisa's real cruelity when she moved in for short time. She slowly prepares herself to unaliving her grandma. Adrianna - her older sister; due to Alva's creepy behaviors Addie tries to avoid her as much as possible and doesn't talk to her very often. Alva sometimes acts vicious towards her and even hurts her, saying she is stupid and boring. Despite everything, Addie still cares about her a bit, tries to understand her and even feels pity for her, but Alva just an absolute menace and can't get on well with anyone except her mother. In the future their relations are seemingly better, but never perfect. Talvi - the second person after Taris who she is respecting, has a small obsession about her and enjoys spending time with her. Alva acts surprisingly nicely arounds her, but it's visible that SHE is the more influential/dominant person in this relationship, even though Talvi is nearly 5 years older than her (Talvi is very shy and feels intimidated while being close to this family members). Alva is happy when Talvi gets "adopted" by her parents and she's not even jealous THAT MUCH about her spending some time with Taris. Talvi seems to be quite caring about Alva, but it's more like she feels the constant need of being thankful to the Froilands for taking her in. However, these two would absolutely hate if someone called them "sisters". Tito - he doesn't know her that much but dislikes her creepy mindless behaviors. Sometimes it seems like they compete in being the rudest child in the world, but at least Tito has some moral code. Actually he is a bit scared of her. Alva often tries to bite him. |
| Other info - She often dresses up as her mom...with all the details. If Taris has a wound somewhere, she'll paint it on her own body. - She is the uglier sister and her face is not so similar to her mother, especially when she gets older. In the fact she looks like Alisa, her grandmother, when she was young. - Alva has a bunny named Belphegor. The bunny gets a sad end. - She has really bad, crooked teeth. Local dentist are too afraid of her to do something about that. - Alva has a dollhouse made from a coffin, brought by her dad. - Mid spoiler, Alva actually manages to kill Alisa in 1899. She even hides her body by herself. - Teenage Alva seems to be interested in designing clothes. - Adult Alva is a lesbian. When they are teenagers, her relationship with Talvi becomes quite complicated, but they have some love affairs, or more like, try to experiment with each other. However, they aren't destined to become an actual couple. Alva is just not someone who would like to be in a long term relationship with one person at all. Her future seems pretty messy and rough for now. |
