| Short description Oldest son of Tilda and Fred from Amaralf's team, a real untamed wild child. Very brave, cheeky and quite rude, doesn't like to listen to adults. He's almost always with his brothers, Falke and Anto, and other friends - and seems to be a leader between them. Despite his wild nature, he's also caring and sensitive. Seems to be not afraid of anything, but that's not really truth. The most energic and risky among his siblings. | Personality A cheeky, insolent and hyperactive boy, always willing up to show off and break something. Stubborn, fierce and funny, mischievous and brave, already seems to be a good leader. Never listens to adult people and annoys strangers. Already wants to be a true warrior, even if there is no thing that he could fight with. Some of his ideas are just pure chaos. He tries to help Amaralf's team at very young age and is not afraid of the bandits. Usually sticks with brothers and other friends, feels unsure when left alone. Although making an impression of fearless and courage, there are some things that scare him and sometimes he forces himself to be like that just to impress others. His father and grandfather had put a lot of pressure on him to make him always be tough and not showing too much emotions, while he is, in fact, very emotional. Can be quite moody but is kinda cute at the same time, it's easy to make him embarassed. Despite his rudeness people usually find him very likeable person, as he's cheerful, protective, loyal and hardworking. Doesn't care for school and good manners, but from time to time he proves that he actually can act nice. When he grows up, he becomes even more wild, risky and restless, yet he never does anything that could hurt his loved ones. He's a type of badass, but somehow a soft one. Sometimes he may seem like a person who never cares about anything and wants to live as many adventures as possible, but he never stops caring for others, he's still quite sensitive and faithful, just a bit lost after some bad things happens. It's impossible for him to stay in one place for too long, he becomes quite mysterious, melancholic and less cheerful, for some time people don't even know what's going on with him. Other people are very important to him, but at the same time he somehow lives in his own world. Still very loyal, connected to nature, even more risky, likes to staying alone more, yet he still cares about his family. Can show his more temperamental side, get really envy and harsh, but not for long time. First thing that impacts his personality is the incident with Zacharias Sorenson when he's 10-11, and the second is his youngest brother's death, when he's 15 - he never stops blaming himself for what happened, even though it wasn't his fault. The older he gets, the more tough his relations with parents become, especially with the mother. Due to his relationship with Adrianna, he becomes connected to the Froiland family (somehow, he actually had it since he was a baby), what also will influence on his further life. | Relations Adrianna - Adam and Taris' oldest daughter; at first moment they don't like each other, she's completely different from him and he annoys her everyime, but later he encourages her to play with him and his friends and they start to like each other a bit more. For a long time Adrianna keeps thinking he's immature and dumb, but changes her opinion and develops some feelings to him when he saves her from her evil grandma who tries to kidnap her again. Tito ends up quite tragic after that and Adrianna deeply worries about him, but thanks to Adam, he gets better. They still like to tease each other, but they become closer friends, they even start to running away from their houses just to visit each other. It seems like the whole horrible situation with halcylians, accuastions and everything that was going around the Froilands made these two much closer. Later, when the Froilands decide to move out abroad, it makes Addie extremely angry, mainly because she doesn't want to leave Tito. Besides him, she didn't actually have any other friends, but she was already convinced that she doesn't want to end up this friendship. Despite the differences of their personalities, they get on with each other quite well, especially that after that moment Adrianna becomes much more rebellious. When the Froilands move out, these two have very limited contact. Adrianna still insist on coming back to Hillade and puts a lot of pressure on her father to change his mind, because she is more and more in love with her blonde haired friend with every year, even when she's unable to see him at all. While it takes longer for Tito to develop similar feelings, it eventually happens and they will become an actual couple someday. However, in the future their relationship will not be that pure and sweet. Adam - Adam seems to like this kid and encourages polite and gentle Adrianna being friends with such a cheeky brat. He even notices that his acting reminds him of Taris when she was a child. When Tito saves Adrianna, Alisa hurts him and he becomes very sick, so in order to help him get healthy (and not letting Adrianna get depressed), Adam decides to share some of the cursed substance with him (just one single small portion that shouldn't make anyone heavily addicted as Taris is). He probably wouldn't be that optimistic about Addie's relationship with Tito if he knew what it'll bring them later. Taris - Addie's mom, he admires her quietly and sees her as a kind of heroine after he hears that she killed the leader of bad ruffians' team. He was a bit scaried of her at first, but she treats him very friendly. She used to take care of him when he was a baby, as she was preparing for being mother herself. He sees it as a bit embarassing now and doesn't like when Taris mentions it. Yes, Taris is his future mother-in-law. Fred - his father. Fred claims that he really tries to mitigate their children's horrible attitude, but in fact he isn't the best at disciplining them. He's usually too indulgent to punish them, but when it's something really big, he can become very angry. Fred often repeats him that he should act like a man and encourages his bravery, even if it brings him troubles. It's noticeable that Fred favors him over his other children and he is the most precious one for him. Tito wants to join the team and fights with ruffians as well, but maybe there will be no need at all, as it seems like Vivril slowly gives up. Tilda - his mother; she's that less tolerant parent who yells more and plans the punishments, but actually she loves her family a lot. Usually she treats him quite harsh and it's the most strict for him among all her children. It's visible that with time Tilda is more and more angry at her oldest son and he's definitely her least favorite, at some point she barely cares about him. After Jakob dies, she blames Tito for it and keeps saying that he always should be more responsible for all the siblings. Bart - Fred's father; he's rather harsh and mean, but Tito still likes this old duffer because he thinks he's the only person who treats him seriously in whole family. Bart constantely tells him to not be a crybaby, doesn't accept signs of weakness and seems to not care about his safety at all, he even lets him use guns when he's not even 10. In fact he is Bart's favorite grandchild. Anto and Falke - his younger brothers; they're the unseparable trio and they always do everything together. They have some fights sometimes, but really care about each other. While the younger one, Anto, seems to always follow Tito no matter what, Falke is more cautious and sometimes criticizes his oldest brother. In the future their ways will split and their bonds will no longer stay so friendly, due to all the bad events that will happen to them. Probably in the very end they will be friends again. Jakob - his youngest brother. Although he's clearly not happy when Jakob is born, he helps with taking care of him and the third sibling becomes precious to him as well. When Jakob is 5, he drowns in a lake and dies. Tito finds his dead body and feels responsible for his death, because he didn't notice when his brother went alone there, and the previous day he had showed him this place personally, but it's nothing his fault. Actually Jakob didn't go there by himself. He was with...someone else. Florian - one of closer friends of the siblings, son of Ellend Risenberg from Amaralf's team, a bit older than Tito. Florian is much calmer than him, but always admires him and cares for him. When they are teenagers, Florian clearly has a crush on him. Zacharias - son of Kalia and Pavlo Sorenson, halcylians from Braivada village, three years older than Tito. They start as a friends, however Zacharias doesn't have that much respect for Tito like Florian does even at the beginning. When the situation with Arevalte occurs and he gains his regenerated, almost physical form, Zach suggests Tito that they could follow Fred and the team when they'll be going to the "monster's nest", as the halcylian boy is curious what is the dangerous creature that everyone talks about. Arevalte has a huge impact on halcylians' alheer element and it affects them in many different ways, mainly causing their power to grow, but also, in a few cases - affecting their minds. When Zach gets closer to Valte, he faints and Tito tries to save him. When the adults find both of them, Fred is extremely angry at Tito, thinking it was all his idea, while in fact Tito was scared and didn't want to go there at all. When some time passes by, Zach starts to act differently than usual and feels a strong need to use his Light power all the time, also, in weird experimental ways that he never did before. The possessed halcylian starts to use his younger friend as his guinea pig, constantely hurting him with the Light, almost torturing. Tito tries to fight with him, but Zach doesn't want to stop for a few weeks. Being too ashamed of admitting that he is unable to protect himself, Tito never shares with anyone what Zach does to him, but finally he forces him to stop, when he hurts him really hard in the face and gauges his eye out. The whole incident is quite traumatizing for him. Zacharias was heavily affected by Arevalte's power, but actually it was only a beginning, because other halcylians were starting to get infected with that alheer empowering too, however, not everyone had their minds affected as well. Zach eventually apologizes for what he has done, but he's never the same anymore and since that time their relations are tough and messy. Kind of spoiler, Pavlo Sorenson is actually the halcylian that Adam Froiland abducts in order to make him his "slave" and force him to produce the cursed medicine for Taris. It has an impact even on Zacharias and Tito's relation. To make Pavlo give up on everything and leave the country with him, Adam firstly kidnaps his whole family and threats him. As he's in a disguise, for some reason Zach thinks that the man who abducted them is Fred, what makes him hate the whole Svindal family even more. Zach starts seeking vengeance for this and keeps tormenting the boy to force him to tell the truth what Fred has done to Pavlo, not even suspecting that the person responsible for his father's absence is Adam. A few years later Zach takes Jakob to the lake and throws him into the water, knowing that the one who will be blamed for it will be the oldest sibling. Tito is completely unaware of what Zach has done. Roxanne - his younger sister, she sees him as her biggest idol and he's probably her favourite member of the family. He really cares about her and has the best relations with her from all the siblings, even though he's 12 years older than her. He even lets her put ribbons in his hair. Alva - he doesn't know her that much but dislikes her creepy mindless behaviors. Sometimes it seems like they compete in being the rudest child in the world, but at least Tito has some moral code. Actually he is a bit scared of her. Alva often tries to bite him. Alisa - Taris' mother. He once meets this old lady - and he can't forget about this meeting until the end of his life. When she tries to abduct Adrianna again, Tito starts to follow her and tries to force her to put her granddaughter back. Alisa hardly hurts him and throws him to a frozen lake, but Adrianna manages to save him. It was the moment when these two started to get closer to each other, so in the end, maybe Alisa did something good. |
| Other info - He's a bad student and doesn't care about studying, however, when he doesn't get promotion to next class, he's absolutely depressed. He's not stupid, he claims he just has different priorities in life. He and his siblings always make a lot of troubles in the school, however Falke at least tries to study. - He runs away from home several times. He disappears for longer time after Jakob's death, being not able to cope with what has happened. At some point even his mother throws him out of the house. - It's noticeable he's not a fan of cats, or maybe just the 15 black cats with demon names in the Froilands' house - he wouldn't admit, but he finds them creepy. - Even though he's the oldest sibling, people often think that Falke is the oldest, as he's just taller, more responsible and more serious than Tito (when they're older). He's considered to be the prettiest one and even as a child already has some admirers; he's that local bad boy, but a cute one, with the best hair. - The siblings have mixed roots, as Matilda's mother was Polish and Fred's mother was Indian. They have four cousins that they're obliged to meet with sometimes and they state that they're hate them with burning passion, especially cousin Franklin who was born exactly at the same day, month and year as Tito. The grandfather, Bart, doesn't live in their house, but visits them so often that it really might seem so. Their house is quite big, but it ALWAYS requires renovations and repairs, since the children make so much mess there (this certain blondie literally blew up a big part of the roof one day). - His favourite animal is elk and he wants to have one for his own. As a teen he gets a dog (a big one, wolf-like, he loves to sleep with it) - Despite his family is not that poor, sometimes he randomly steals food from other people because it's never enough for him. - All of these brothers have long hair and they wouldn't ever want to cut it, probably mainly because his father + a lot of men from the team have similar lenght. Yes, sometimes they get mistaken for girls, it happens from time to time. In contrast, their sister is the one in this family who has very short hair, as she's a total tomboy. - Actually the Svindal siblings were added to the story completely randomly when I was starting to write First Glimmers and they weren't supposed to play any bigger role. While the younger ones in fact aren't that important for the plotline, Tito is quite significant character there and still has a lot of things to do there in the future. |
