Amethyst

Amethyst is the deuteragonist of a story concept I came up with in middle school titled Space Katz, which was about a group female crime-fighting anthro cats in space. Unlike Galactica, Amethyst's design has changed quite a bit since her inception.

Amethyst is 22, uses she/it pronouns, and is a lesbian! Her and Galactica may or may not be girlfriends (jk they are absolutely girlfriends)

Amethyst is a bit of a party girl. She loves to let loose and have fun, and she has an affinity for cartoonish pranks. She doesn't have much of a filter and kinda just says whatever she wants, whether it's appropriate or not. She doesn't take things seriously often enough, and goofs around a lot. She slacks off often and leaves the heavier work to others. Because of her chill, goofy lazing nature, she tends to get under Galactica's skin a lot. Galactica is also often on the receiving end of Amethyst's pranks. Amethyst may love making her mad and messing with her, but she still cares deeply about Galactica and is very protective of her.

It's not shown on her ref image as I don't have art depicting it yet, but Amethyst has a prosthetic right arm made of tumbled amethyst (as in, the crystal!)

Amethyst's character was also lightly inspired by Amethyst from Steven Universe.
