History
super short version is Arioch is a half-demon with cool special powers who was worshipped for them in some tiny & secluded village and raised to be some tyrant and take over something idk yet. he didn't have anyone to play with as a bab though and eventually another bab was kidnapped from a heroic mercenary caravan after they were all murdered so Arioch would finally shut uppppp. Both kids were super young at the time so neither knew the other kid, Adelaide's, parents history and were best friends growing up!! but then someone spilled the beans when they were older and Adelaide became furious and tried to convince Arioch how bad this place was and that they had to leave but Arioch was like ??? why would he do that lol he loved it there, SO Adelaide snuck out on their own at night and vowed to help everyone in need just like their parents did >:'(
Arioch felt Super Betrayed by basically his only real friend ditching him for something he wasn't even involved in and ALSO snuck out to find them, which, SHOCKINGLY, went extremely poorly. Multiple times. Since Adelaide refused to even talk to him anymore but was obsessed with fighting "bad guys," Arioch decided to become The Ultimate Bad Guy so they would HAVE to keep interacting with him (this is a normal conclusion to reach) and maybe return his text messages. Arioch usurped control of Lunessa's terrible gang with his handy tyrant training and managed to whip them into shape so they are actually a threat now, wow, and ready to do Evil Crimes (TM). A brilliant and sensible plan by a brilliant and sensible mind.

- He is WEAK to sappy movies and it's so embarrassing, don't mention it ever or he will destroy you (aka kick you out of the lair for the night)
- Apparently having a cult that agrees with every stupid thing you say does terrible things to your critical thinking and debate skills. But especially the critical thinking skills.
- He honestly doesn't mind it when his schemes fall apart because he enjoys brute forcing things with magic anyway, it makes it more exciting!! Arioch's number one priority is having Adelaide show up anyway so whatever Iain was whining about wanting to steal doesn't matter all that much to him (he will, however, deny that any plans have ever failed and the fighting was actually part of it all along)
- Gets defensive about his evil cult since they were the ones who raised him and he views them as family. Ok, so they've done some bad things in the past, but he can just tell them not to do that anymore so what's the big deal??????????
- Has a terrible habit of wandering off if he gets bored or if something catches his eye. If you can't keep up that's your own problem
- Arioch has no idea how to do any basic housekeeping, chores, etc since everything was done for him growing up. He'd probably manage to screw up cereal if he had to try making food for himself
- As much as he acts like (and is) a carefree idiot, he is (shockingly) competent as a leader and a fighter. It's just that he regresses five years and loses about 30 iq points as soon as Adelaide shows up on account of his Big Dumb Crush
- Loves jewelry and weird baubles, he needs to be Decked Out at all times
