Vhitho's skin slightly stretched as his smile grew, more of his pointed teeth revealing themselves. "I see how well you serve your master. I know well of the devotion you feel... I believe we share a kindred spirit. I accept it openly and eagerly. I know that we will have a lot to discuss over tea time..."
The wraith's smile grew when facing towards the other, although their eyes remain covered, he can sense some sort of... familiarity, within Vhitho "Your devotion to your lord is simply... exceptional. I truly hold nothing but respect for you and your followers... we are still meeting tomorrow for tea, yes?"
“Your little family is only but a vague and empty attempt at fulfilling something that you can no longer hold. Surrender them to us; allow them to join The Chord, and let them hear his song… Your children will have true worth within undeath; and while they stay with you, they remain futile.”
“You parasite, away with you! You speak in such an impassioned manner, but your precious Deathsinger is nothing to me. These children are MY family; for I am their matriarch beyond death itself — and I will NOT allow you to take that from me!”
“You would find peace within our family; your agony would become something beautiful and pure — but oh. Oh, how I love to watch you suffer. You may be the only wraith I dare not sway, as every malady upon you brings me amusement…”
“I want nothing more than to tear this silver-tongued priest to pieces and then construct him again, just to mutilate him once more. Again, and again, and again. She enjoys the purity of death — so I shall introduce her to the purity of suffering!”
“You are…beyond even my understanding. Are you alive? Are you dead? I sense no tranquility, I see no peace behind that ghoulish grin of yours. I only sense…darkness.”
“A cult? Oh, how very compelling! These melodies are certainly haunting. I find myself enjoying them. I know someone who could arrange these Deathsinger songs of yours quite well. Have you ever heard of a…remix?”
“You’re either a courageous creature or a profoundly stupid one. You prove to be more difficult than one would expect. When your time comes, I will be right there, watching and waiting…”
“Vhitho, I have-have warned you once. Stay away-away from civilians. Should-Should you cross my path again, you will-will regret leaving your island.”
“You only have one way to be free; but your end does not have to be a tragedy, cursed one. Close your eyes and hear his song… The embrace of oblivion will give you what you seek. There is no agony, there is no emotion — only purity, undeath most beautiful. You want this… We shall give it to you.”
“Wretched creature. My soul is not one for the likes of you to take. I know my place; you best learn yours. Stay where you belong or I shall drag your inanimate corpse back to the wasteland of wence you came.”
“You lazy, silly boy. How about you come closer…and I can show it to you. Show it all to you.”
“Say… Out of curiosity. What could you share about that moment between life and death? I think such valuable information is something worth preaching about…”
“What a strange little...something. You are not worth my eternity.”
“What?! I don’t get a honeyed lecture about death and life or whatever?! How rude!”
Vhitho’s speaks in a melodic manner, almost as if he is half-singing. “Little darling Mourning Spider, how is the heaviness in your heart, the loneliness that is not be appeas'd by any means? Are the days long and weary? Are the nights even longer, for in this realm, you are alone for what you are? I know of the Vilemaw. Your kin demands feeding of flesh and blood, and the truth of your birth is too much to bear. Come, sit and listen, child. You can be free of these burdens… You can be free of these pain. You only need to hear us. You need to hear his song…”
"You will address me with respect. I am not just another wraith wandering these cursed lands. If you know of my father, you know that you should fear him and his kin, myself included. You will not lure me into your cult with condescending words coated with poisoned honey. You do not understand me, nor will you ever. Begone." She may have been alone in this world but she had no need for the preachings of zealots nor the prattle of the wraiths who walked the isles.
“You are a man most proud and haughty, yet you bear a heavy burden. You are alone; or better said, you have been left behind. You bear the weight of life; the weight of a whole world on your shoulders that is not your own. These burdens can be lifted if you open your ears, open you heart to the song of undeath…”
“You wretched ghoul… I may be slightly tempted by your offer, but I fail to see the use it would have for me. You best try your luck elsewhere, filthy lich.”
“So, so much taken from you, dear boy. How unfair this mortal coil is to those undeserving of its cruelty. The pain of the past does not need to remain on your conscience; nor in your soul. There is a solution. Listen to the sweet melodies of undeath… You will find your solace. Come here, dear boy. We have much to show you.”
Under usual circumstances, the unbreakable will of Noxus would have been enough to fully ignore such provacations, but as of late, Vanzant has not been his usual self. "You...you pontificate on things you don't understand!" He was firm, but an air of indecision laced his tone.
“You are a harbinger of suffering; but we offer what is most beautiful, what is most pure. You fail to understand the truth, the grace of undeath! You are an abomination.”
"Karthus is not going to acknowledge your cult. There is a beauty in illness you fail to see... the hope of recovery... just to fall into the arms of death... it is simply magnificent... never speak on my methods again..."
“You vile, blasphemous creature — Karthus! His name is— Pah! You worthless heathen— Get out of my sight! You will never be welcome in death’s embrace! You will never deserve his appreciation!”
“Do you ever listen to yourself? UNDEATH this and KARKUS that! You know what I think? Your little party SUCH a BORE! A drag! Sing your boring little songs all day to your crusty Deathsinger, who cares?! I’m the only bad lich that matters!”
"You wretched, foolish being! One as ignorant as you will never know the true comfort of oblivion's embrace! Off yourself and burn in inferno, do every realm a favor!"
"Another one? Bah, all you wraiths are the same, how about you stop obsessing over some average powerful being and find some real purpose? You have infinity to live for and yet this is what you are devoting it too? I pity you lot, at least be fan of someone with good music"
“I am hesitant to say that even undeath’s pure embrace cannot save you. Wretched boy, you are doomed to suffer in the Void’s clutches. Pitiful, truly pitiful.”
“Death sounds much sweeter than what awaits me, phantom. Must my soul be left to rot in a beast’s body? Don’t leave me to suffer…”
“She fails to understand the beauty of undeath, but I will not give up so easily. I will become her greatest teacher. Oblivion commands it.”
"Gotta be honest, I have NO clue what he's going on about half the time! But I also gotta say, I admire her dedication! She is REALLY trying! He should get a raise."
"My most respectable Ferryman, you have brought so many into the dark, the true darkness! His song will be heard by many more because of you. For that, I must applaud you. You are an instrument of Oblivion, Man'qel."
The Ferryman nods their head in gratitude for Vhitho's praise. "Your words are appreciated, Vhitho."
"This little devil is quite resilient. I typically do not meddle with beings such as she, but how peculiar she is. She may as well be a mortal..."
"Let me preface this by saying that religion is kind of sort of not my thing, like at all. I still think you and I could get up to some fun together. I've got somewhere you can put that big chin of yours!"
“I would not waste precious chords on a sorry soul like you. My master is not so selfish as yours — and if the song of death will not reach that foolish king’s ears, then it is not meant for him nor those who follow him! Wretched worms, the lot of you!”
"Do not bother trying to sing to me about that foolish lich. I will make sure you never hear again if you attempt to do so."
“How disappointing. I thought that an Aspect like you would have been more open-minded…”
"No, I don't want to join your cult. Thank you for the offer though, big chin. Have a nice afterlife."
“I do not know whether or not to deem that statement as blasphemous.”
"That guy you worship? Yeah, he has much better work than the song you speak of, just trust me on that one. You'll thank me later!"
“You have no jurisdiction over what I do! His teachings must be spread, do you not see it? You are such an ignorant fool. I ought to have my followers tear you asunder for such blasphemy!”
“I have had to intervene more than once, Vhitho, and you know full well that I will do it again. Leave those mortals be.”
"Vhitho. You keep returning here. I am going to remain where I was told to stay. Try as you may, I cannot defy my lord's wishes, and I will not."
