Remus's Links
“I’m perfectly capable of deciding that for myself, but thank you very much for your invaluable input.” Remus wore a smile but it was clear that he was holding everything back. Gods, he had never met a woman so punchable.
She takes a sip of her wine as she sits on a makeshift chair made out of two of her thralls, their mangled bodies supporting her frail frame. "So, you've come crawling back to Noxus? Make sure you avoid the drinks. What we serve here in Noxus is much stronger than the garbage they serve in Piltover." She smiles at him but her eyes convey everything Remus needs to know. She wants him dead.
Remus knew better than to act out of line around Avalon, what with her reputation. He was fully aware of what she was capable of...and what she had done in the past. He smiled, his body language non-chalant and relaxed. "Well, thanks. Truth be told, with the kinds of skills you possess, you operate well enough without me."
"If I had not trained my war band in hemomancy, I would certainly offer you an invitation to join us. Your skills are admirable." Her words are kind yet soaked in poison as with any conversation with Avalon, she merely wishes to butter Remus up to annoy Seulki further.
“Bothering HER? That’s my cup of tea. You won me over, one hundred percent. Stay awhile, I’ll show you a few things.”
He clears his throat and approaches Remus, doing his best to appear confident. "Remus. Would you be so kind as to teach me some of your healing magic? I'd like to learn from you." He bows his head slightly and speaks in a hushed whisper. "Also, I wish to get back at Seulki. You are the perfect man to help me with this."
“Zurran, you’ve always scared the shit out of me, but at least you’ve always been on my side of things. Well, at least until Raze gets involved. It’s truly a wonder how much your body can take. I’ve patched up your nastiest wounds and you’ve barely even flinched.”
“I can not blame you for what happened in Piltover. At the very least, it brought one of our best back to us.”
“You know, Julas? You ought to go out with me and Raze one of these nights. I bet with a little help, we could probably get you lucky.”
“Absolutely not. I would not gather with the likes of you.”
This woman was tall and intimidating, but Remus kept calm and wore his usual relaxed grin. He looked up at her, his hands in his pockets. “Way ahead of you, miss. Trust me.”
"I know of your allegiance, I do not care. We are not destined to be enemies, not today." She begins to walk away alongside her group of similar looking Vastaya before turning around and pointing a clawed finger at Remus. "You should be wary of both Avalon and the Death Witch. They are not your allies, young one."
"Zako... I think you ought to skidaddle unless you want someone to see you. I'm just fine, I swear! Give your lovely lady my best."
"Remus, we are still trying to clean things up in Piltover, you know. You may have shared too much from recent gatherings. I am just here to warn you..."
"Ah, Momas! I've been applying some of those methods you showed me. Works like a charm. You're a lot better than most physicians in Piltover, I swear."
"From one healer to another, all knowledge is so-so valuable, yes-yes. I have much-much more to show you."
Remus stuffed a bunch of unfinished forms into his desk. "And I was just about to go out for drinks. Later!"
Faustus scowled and narrowed his eyes. "I am here to discuss your work ethic."
“Huh? Ohhh… Hey, there. You have me at a disadvantage… Have we met?” Remus very much did remember everything but he would play dumb this time.
His ears perk up as he notices Remus, not having seen him in years ever since they hooked up with one another back in Piltover. He feels a chill run down his neck as he approaches him. "H-hey Remus! How have you been all these years?" He hopes to whatever higher power there may be that Remus doesn't remember anything that happened between them.
Remus smirked and let out a small laugh. “For a big, fine lady like you? I know just the place.”
"What, so you're like a doctor or something? That's cool." She looks at him blankly before cutting straight to the chase. "I don't give a fuck about medical practice. Do you know where a girl can get a drink in this city?"
“Hey, hey, no need to be rash here. Forgive me for admiring the view; you’re just one hell of a specimen.” Remus put his hands in his pockets and shrugged. He seemed to be keeping his cool despite the threats.
"If you were an intelligent human, you would know how impolite it is to stare at a woman's bust. Keep your eyes on my face or I swear, I will gut you from seam to seam." She glares at him and quickly draws up one of her spines from her hand, threatening him with a bad time.
“I think you’re before my time here…but the walls do listen and the birds do sing. I know who you were and what became of you. I would find it wise to hang back away from me. I’ll do the same for you.”
"You're the least of our priorities, but I'm not opposed to beatin' the shit out of you in case I need a new punching bag."
"Aaah, good ol' Cyran. Did I disturb your nap again? Hurts me a little that you don't wanna chat with me anymore. Not even to fool around a little? Damn. I miss the trouble we've gotten into, don't you?"
"Dear Remmy, I have no desire to see your face today. Please, come back later or get someone else to help you with all of this... I don't wish to be a part of your silly escapades anymore, especially not today. I would rather not get into trouble with our circle again."
“Quite a neat set up you have here.” Remus nodded and took a sip from his flask as he watched the woman’s performance, finding amusement in the snake’s movements. “I think my colleagues could get a kick out of this.”
"This guy is something else... I feel a little bad for him, do you think we should try and cheer him up?" Dhaval whispers in her ear and proposes a plan. "How about we try the flower trick?"
Remus laughed mildly and stroked his beard as he eyed the handsome man. “I’m afraid you’ve left me confused, sir. You’re asking for healing, but it’s a matter of which one you want most.”
Vanzant yearns for reconciliation and the chance to mend the rift between the two Noxians, in any way. "You know, Remus, despite what fractured our bond, my care for you, remains unbroken. Should you find yourself in need of an ally, you know where to find me." He smiled softly and nodded.
“Say… Out of curiosity. What could you share about that moment between life and death? I think such valuable information is something worth preaching about…”
“You lazy, silly boy. How about you come closer…and I can show it to you. Show it all to you.”
"I promised her that I wouldn't use any of my hemomancy on her, and I'm a man of my word. It's nice to be trusted really. She's a dedicated lady, that's for sure. We all got something we'd do anything for."
"I do not have much trust in hemomancy. It is antithetical to my magic. Still, Remus is a good man. I would trust him to bandage me up after a fight, maybe not enough to take me out for drinks though."
“I don’t talk much with the cat boy. It looks like he bites. Usually, I’m having to treat bites on my colleagues and I can only guess who the culprit is.”
"He smells of liquor at all times. The scent is putrid and I avoid him based on that alone. He does not speak to me often, I enjoy that. I do not wish to claw his eyes out just yet."
"Oh, him? Eh, he's alright. I'm glad he's out there doing what he wants."
"He's far too smart for the "I'm injured and in desperate need of healing" schtick. A shame, he's actually somewhat attractive. Maybe one day, if I'm ever dying of boredom."
“This guy can take a punch. Raze’s body may be nearly impossible to get through, but I think this guy is close behind. He’s definitely got a mean streak going for him, but in Noxus that hardly matters.”
“You’ve made it far. It’s impressive, really.” Remus said nothing else, his smile relaxed; his expression definitely seemed like he knew more than he was letting on.
"Trust, it was assured from the start that I would." She watched him warily. She did not give much trust to most others to begin with, and this one was surely not earning it.
“I respect Lady Masuyo, I do. I’m glad she managed to get the job done, if you know what I mean.”
“A drunken eccentric. There is something behind those eyes that I do not trust. I would rather not be close.”
“Lady El is a mysterious woman, but I’m no stranger to mystery myself. I’m sure that she and I have an understanding that some things are better left unsaid. We don’t talk about the Circle much either. I’m fine with that.”
"Remus. I know him from my time with the Crimson Circle. I can't say that I trust him much but I consider him a decent enough colleague. If nothing else, he is fun to drink with."
