The Young King

Thymi is inexperienced and naive but kind-hearted and devout. He aspires to be a good king, but he has much to learn. He has a lot of questions that adults don't want to answer even though he's going to become king. He's got a bit of curiosity that gives him some playfulness, 

Thymi is a child prince who is soon to become king after his older brother, Sage, was disinherited from the thrown. He never expected to be king so he has a lot to learn quickly. He's about to be crowned the king, and he doesn't know if he's ready or not. He wants to do the best job possible, but he is aware that he's still a child and wants to have a childhood too. He likes to be alone (when he's allowed to be and has the time) and is comforted by his pet crow, Rowyn.

His pet crow was given to him by his brother Sage before he ran off. Around when Sage disappeared, Thymi began to notice feather's sprouting from his own skin. He's not sure what's caused it, but he isn't ashamed of this state. He thinks it brings him closer to both Sage and Rowyn. He used to be very close to Sage, and since he misses him terribly, he's looking for anything to keep their bond strong. He still doesn't quite understand why Sage had to leave. His guardians don't talk about it often either. 

Rowyn is his closest and most trusted companion while his Right Hand, who will serve him when he is King, is off on a journey.  Thymi is aware that Rowyn can turn into a woman on strange nights. He does not know how she became a crow or her history, but he does know that she has come a long way. She used to be very abrasive, but now she is like s strict mother, but of course, she still has her down falls, but Thymi believes and trusts in her because it seems like she is all that he has.
