Nerd... talk...? What exactly are you referring to? I'm not getting terribly technical about things... am I?
Just cut back on the nerd talk, Ken. Makes you a lot more badass when you just rely on the wits and inventions.
I swear I'm not always this much of a damsel in distress all the time, but I suppose you're the best person to have around when such things do end up happening. I'm so sorry, friend, I never meant for this to be a reoccurring issue for me.
Oh, don't worry so much. You know what's good for helping melt away stress? Waffles. I know a great place for some...
I'm... not sure if I understand that term of endearment.
Yeah yeah, I'll save your ass again, you brilliant little cinnamon roll.
She's not very chatty, but she drives perfectly even with her poor vision. Glad she brought a new angle to developing these Mechs so they can be more accessible. Can't believe I overlook these things sometimes...
This guy seems to think of everything and then get worked up when he finds the one thing he didn't consider, like making vehicles for blind people. I mean... if he's never encountered a blind person before, of course he wouldn't have thought of it. Don't worry that brilliant little head of yours...
I feel bad that on both occasions I've met the princess and her personal guard, I've gotten into some horrible trouble. They must think I'm just a walking disaster at this point... I need to schedule another meeting with them and take all necessary precautions to make it go off without a hitch...
He's made countless contributions to Crystaless's well being and development with his inventions, but he certainly gets in over his head often...
Boy oh boy, the two times I've encountered genuine Soul Crystals I've had a bad run in with Dark Matter. I really hope I can encounter more of the fairies without so much danger in the circumstances... Maybe I should ask Ribelle and the queen if they'd be interested in some automated security for their crystal vaults...
Dar’Kenai‘s such a bright one for his age. He's accomplished so much and made so many inventions on a scale I can't even wrap my brain around. But of course the Dark Matter had to make everything so complicated for us all...
Violet has been one of my closest friends ever since we met back home on Shivarstra. She's always been very encouraging and supportive of me and my work. It's easy to feel confident moving forward when you know she has faith in you.
Ken is... ah, well he's wonderful. He's so incredibly smart and kind and... *blushes* Ah what am I saying?
Dash is probably one of my most reliable test drivers despite his appearance and demeanor. He's a bit rough around the edges, but he does great work, and he might be the best driver we have here.
Hey, he tells me to test something, I do it. Kid's a pretty generous nerd, but it's hard to not be impressed by all the stuff he's done already.
Indi seems a little irresponsible, yeah, but I don't trust anyone more than her to drive those dragster Mechs.
The nerd has got a pretty sweet setup here. Can't thank him enough for the invite.
She's one of my better tour guides around here, and she seems pretty popular with both the tourists and the residents. She's... a bit unconventional sometimes, but she does good work of course.
Boss man makes a lot of great things for everyone, especially the tourists. Sure he's the only one that could've thought out this whole deal.
Oh boy, this one sure is stressful to watch when working a Mech... For science, do it for science...
I'm really glad that Ken is good with keeping secrets... and he's even letting me learn to use his Mechs! I've already crashed a couple times, but he says he's working on improving durability, so I guess it's fine!
We've got even more bigger and better things ahead of us. Couldn't have done any of this without you.
I know mom and dad would've been so proud and happy to see what we've accomplished together. I know I sure am.
Oh gosh, I've got a team of official missionaries monitoring for stuff like Clone activity around Air City. I know I had a lot of trouble during that Dark Matter scare, but I didn't think it would continue on for this long... Anyway, this lady's a little intimidating, but she wants to get her job done right, I'm sure... Hopefully they don't stick around for too long.
We've been assigned to keep an eye on this guy and his projects. He's a rather high risk target for many enemies of Crystaless.
Ugh, my first impression with the king of Poppestra involved getting possessed by Dark Matter and almost destroying half of Rokkstra with my prototype flying city. Guess I need a better failsafe for the next time I get... possessed...? How do you design technology to do that? Maybe I need to research some controlled Anti rifting switches...
Smart kid, but trouble always seems to find the people with great ideas.
I don't know if I should install thicker glass around here to prevent damages or keep it the same so this poor angel doesn't hurt herself even worse when she flies into a window...
Aw man, I have my own protocol in the MC*Corps safety procedures now...
Sometimes I wonder if my sister is actually playing an elaborate prank on me and is only pretending to not know who asked these missionaries to keep an eye on the island... I could imagine her hiring this icy lady to watch me. I don't need to be nagged about safety protocol any more than I already am by everyone else.
Our team is assigned to keep a close watch for Clone activity around Air City. The head of MC*Corp doesn't seem too pleased about it though.
Dash is a lot easier to work with than Lenay, but she's just about as good as he is when it comes to driving. Giving orders to her is just a touch more difficult, but she's still pretty reasonable compared to the rest of the gang.
The head nerd around here gave us a pretty good gig. Drive the prototype bikes, do some test races, don't drive off with company property, and we get paid to live on a tropical island paradise. Don't have much to complain about.
I don't exactly know what to think about this guy. I mean, I know he's sort of affiliated with the missionaries and is supposed to be a good guy, I guess... Think my sister's got a goofy crush on him. It's really weird...
I keep an eye on this one. He means the world to Milly.
I feel bad that on both occasions I've met the princess and her personal guard, I've gotten into some horrible trouble. They must think I'm just a walking disaster at this point... I need to schedule another meeting with them and take all necessary precautions to make it go off without a hitch...
I'm looking forward to seeing what else Darke and his sister have in store for Crystaless.
Is all this heightened security all that necessary? I feel like worrying about it is only going to invite problems... *sigh* I suppose I'll put up with it for now, as long as it doesn't impede the schedule any more than it already has...
I know, I know. The innovators are getting grumpy about the precautions. It wasn't my idea to patrol the island all the time, but orders are orders.
Didn't expect to see Steve with the Crystaless Missionaries. He never really liked listening to authority figures when we were growing up, but people change I guess. He seems a lot happier now anyway. I'm glad.
Melony always said her boss was super cool and generous and such, but she failed to mention she was working for MC*Corp. Ken and I already know each other. We're both from Factesk and... both... have dead parents... Hm... Orphan buddies...?
Uh, no thank you. I think I'm fine just how I am, and I really can't spare that time of time right now.
The head nerd is so busy coming up with all these grand inventions and projects he doesn't have enough time to gussy himself up from time to time. Come on, I won't take long. Give it a shot just once.
He worries me sometimes. He's not the most reliable test driver I have, but he certainly gives me a lot to think about regarding safety precautions.
Pretty nice we get paid to rip around on these prototypes. I get the employers' feathers pretty ruffled since I'm not the most "responsible" test driver on the island. Whatever.
I don't exactly work with the twins as drivers, but I have to take them into account when developing their large friend's Mech. They always ride with him, so we have to make sure the Mech can handle all three of them.
Head nerd around here ain't too bad. He's a little naive, but he's got a lot of rad ideas and doesn't seem to care how odd our squad is.

I'm just waiting for the company to make bigger, better weapons. Mechs are cool and all, but what about more explosions?
