Best Friends . Class 1-A . Spider Boys
As a child, Kazuko was surrounded by tarantulas. He was close to the creatures, unafraid of spiders and handling even the most venomous of them that seemed to be drawn to him. Sometimes tarantulas would crawl out of his skin when he desires and he would play games with them. He terrified many children and had no friends, everybody and their parents convinced he was crazy. It didn't help that he was a confident child; everyone figured he'd lost his mind enough to just not care anymore.
One day, he met with a child named Rei. The two got along immediately, at first due to their love for spiders and secondly because they realised their quirks were extremely similar. Instead of tarantulas, Rei produced more spindly spiders and many orb weavers. The two got along extremely well and so did their spiders and eventually they became near enough inseperable. They balanced each other out perfectly: where Kazuko was weak, Rei was strong.
The two progressed through school together, luckily not being bullied as kids were afraid their spiders would poison them, and eventually tried for U.A. Whilst they were split up, they both used the same tactics to win; sending their spiders into the nooks and crannies of the robots or getting them to crawl up and deactivate them. They passed and the two have been close as ever.

Children thought he was weird because he was quiet and found this scary as he kept everything to himself. Kids thought he was plotting to poison them all with his spiders.
