Fel didn't recognize Miir as his uncle when they first met. In fact he denied it even after Miir showed him visual proof with a photo of a younger Miir with Fel's mother! He didn't start to believe him until after several months of denial...
Miir didn't recognize Fel as his nephew upon first meeting him either. It wasn't until he heard Fel describe his mother and show him a photo of her that he truly knew Fel was his long lost nephew. There was a few months of denial from the pup but after while he just accepted it...
Fel only noticed Vesz's futile efforts to play pranks on him when he first met Miir about a few weeks into his stay with them. He sort of pitied Vesz's attempts at either hurting him or ruining his reputation as he easily outsmarted each and every prank or simply let it backfire on him like a comic act. But in the end Vesz gave up and they became friends.
Vesz initially was jealous because somehow the little doggoon got it in his head that Fel was somehow distancing Miir from him. He didn't want Fel to become the favourite and so went out of his way to play pranks that only backfired on him. After a month or so the little guy gave up and decided to befriend Fel instead of constantly get himself hurt.
Fel being a bit cautious given not only his occupation but also due to the knowledge of the sea being a very cruel mistress was wary of the purrmaid upon first meeting him. He was ready to end Arte's life due to the fear of purrmaid's being known as "mankillers," but learned a valuable lesson that day to not judge a book by it's cover. From then on, he and Arte were the best of friends and sometimes the pirate would come visit or be visited and they would exchange gifts.
Arte is very curious about the dogoon pirate. The two met one day when Fel was out traversing and Arte just so happened to be exploring around his ship. At first Fel was ready to turn Arte into a purrmaid shish kebob, but instead the endearing innocence of the little purr melted the young captain's heart. The two ended up becoming the best of chums and Fel would defend him against anyone!
Fel feels that it's been too long that doggoons have been oppressed in Lato. He thinks that they need to grow some backbone and fight back and he's not afraid to lead a charge against anyone. Being proud of his heritage as a doggoon, he has the willpower and determination to succeed in the face of any adversary!
Fel was afraid he might forget about his parents and so he kept a locket with a photo of his mother and father in it when he was taken away from them. He is now currently using the locket as his only clue to finding his family by showing the photo to anyone who might know their whereabouts...
Fel thinks highly of Ciym since he allows the man to do a lot of the different tasks on his ship that are considered important with little interference. He views Ciym as his right hand man when it comes to financial gain and navigation since the older of the two has more experience in these matters than he does. Overall he puts a lot of trust in him.
He likes the kid's gusto, taking part in the same mutiny which left Fel in charge of the ship. He works with his new captain, who seems receptive to his ideas, on plans to improve their profits. Though he dislikes his current working situation of having to deal with Milenko.
Fel doesn't really care too much for Milenko. He views the man with indifference, though he does respect his stance against other humans to defend doggoons and kimons. It brings enough hope to the little doggoon to have some level of mercy for some humans. He also sees Milenko as a stepping stone to getting an airship one day.
Milenko thinks he's a bad influence on Vesz and doesn't like him because of it. He tries his best to ensure that the two don't spend much time together... But, he is still courteous and maintains his hospitality when Fel comes to visit his uncle.
Fel doesn't know that he has the favor of Kimos on his side at all. But, after the mention of the deity from his companion Ciym, he has taken to research the god named Kimos...
Finds the little doggoon interesting, to the point that he even interfered with the fate of Fel's life which led him to become further a pawn of mischief for the deity. In a way, Fel is doing Kimos's bidding by spreading chaos through his pillaging...
