This Tails never meet Sonic when he was younger, instead Eggman found him and made him his assistant. Tails didn't care to much about world domination, he just wanted to build cool inventions/robots and take revenge on those who bullied him. This Tails is a more skilled fighter, as he regularly trained with Metal. Though that did lead to an accident that left Miles's arm scarred, which he nows keeps covered. Over the years Miles and Metal got closer, with Miles secretly adding upgrades to Metal and messing with his coding.

Everything changed when Miles succeeded in destroying the town he grew up in. He thought seeing it destroyed and everyone fearing him would make him feel better, would fix the loney feeling in this chest. But it didn't, it made him feel all that much worse. After having a break down infront of Sonic and Metal, Sonic offered to help make things right. With Sonics help Miles left Eggman and spent a few months re-building the town. Sonic gave Miles an old house he owns and never uses (he wasn't even sure why he has it in the first place). Now he lives there just on the outskirts of the central city, as a repair man.

Tails started going by Miles again when he left Eggman, as the name reminds him of the time as a villain. Miles is super shy, unless angry. He tends to revert back to his evil self when he's pissed, Sonic or Metal are the only ones that can help him calm down when he gets like this. It took a lot of convincing but Metal left Eggman as well, he now lives with Metal as his assistant and best friend.
