Kalhicel's Links
"Dimi is a very strange existence. Everything I know about him makes me confused about how he's made it this far. He's sentimental but barely knows anyone. He has read a great amount but understands little about the world. He cares about others but can't seem to get along with them. Not to mention what Rhieos assumes about his past, there's so much to unpack. It would be great if he could learn to open up at least a little."
"Someone who understands me... is what I wish was the case. Maybe he does in some way. However, his good will for me isn't out of kindness and sympathy. That's fine. It takes away the burden of connection I'd feel when admitting that I enjoy talking with him."
"Tiyr is an impressive figure. He is diligent, thorough, and clever. The humans respect him greatly, and he has formed a devout and hardworking community all by himself in so little time. In many little ways as well he works to improve my life without asking for much in return. Even when I turn down his suggestions for rewards, he doesn't think to give up or leave. It feels nice to have an unerringly loyal support like him who looks out for me."
"Ah, my master Kal~ I wish he would command me more often, but I guess that's part of his charm. He's so elegant even when he's being thoughtful... and dense. Why can't I brush his hair as a reward? Of course it's a reward my love, your hair is so soft and fluffy and I can't stand just looking at it for eternity. Oh, but I could look into your gorgeous eyes forever... ahhh how could you just let me sit in your arms so long without questioning it! You're so cute. I need you to get hooked on my blood already. You only need to drink from me. The cult won't be forever, learn to depend fully on me. I'm so excited~ just thinking about finally influencing you to let go and tear me apart... Ahahaha!"
"Rhieos comes off as a loose cannon, especially at first. He's energetic and thrives when he can fill in the silent present. Though he has some questionable ideas when it comes to entertainment, he's a genuinely soft man searching for affection. I find it fascinating to watch him argue and act tough because it seems he's unaware of his own core nature. Likely, it's the loneliness and loss that's caged him. I wonder what getting him to be honest with Dimi would do for them both?"
"Not only did I meet an elder vampire, but he's a faun as well? I can't believe I had this miraculous encounter! He's a far better friend than that traitor, Dimi. Only thing he was good for was leading me to him. Right, I need to talk about Kalhicel. He has the right ideas about vampire life and found a great way to survive outside of his family. A little pacifistic for my taste, but I digress. We get along great otherwise. He is kind of... odd when I consider him further, though. Not just because he uses a weapon when his body should already be one, but he doesn't seem like he has any interests or goals... or hobbies? I guess another way to say he doesn't find anything important nor does he get attached. Might have to do with the long life. Should I teach him how to play chess?"
