Ure-SHII met Ember when they were only teenagers, when the two of them were sent to the highest-rated university in the entire realm for their training as knights. He admired Ember from afar for his kindness and determination. When he saw Ember being bullied one day, and stepped in, that started his relationship with Ember as a friend, to eventually an unwavering partner as he is now that will always love Ember more than anything.
Ember met Ure-SHII when they were only teenagers, when the two of them were sent to the highest-rated university in the entire realm for their training as knights. Ember always admired Ure-SHII from afar for his bravery and strength, and aspired to become as strong as him someday. When Ure-SHII had suddenly stepped in to protect him from bullies, he finally gathered the courage to speak with more than a greeting in passing, and befriended Ure-SHII. Now, Ember is happily living with Ure-SHII as a romantic partner, and loves him more and more as the days go by.
Ure-SHII met Cervus at the university both attended for their training. He started out observing Cervus from afar, curious about the next heir to the throne of the land of Uvaria, but quickly warmed up to him once Cervus had approached him. To this day the two are the best of friends, and despite being from different lands, Ure-SHII has sworn to aid Cervus however he can whenever Cervus says the word.
Cervus met Ure-SHII at the university both attended for their training. Cervus immediately noticed and gained interest due to Ure-SHII being a part of one of, if not THE most respected of the High Families. He observed from afar, and admired Ure-SHII's strength and refusal to keep to expectations placed on him due to his family ties. He eventually approached Ure-SHII, and the two became fast friends. To this day, Cervus has sworn to aid Ure-SHII and his kingdom however possible, and honors him as a powerful warrior.
The day a lone wyvern had landed nearby had been an interesting one. As he and Ember sensed another presence nearby, Ember had activated his thermal vision to reveal an invisible person that'd eventually be known as Festus. Ure-SHII has very high respect for how Festus is still kind at heart despite his circumstances, and is extremely protective of him, jumping to the offense at even the smallest of things to keep Festus safe. Ure-SHII is unwavering in his promise to be there for Festus no matter what, and does all he can to give Festus the love and support he deserves.
One day, as Festus landed his wyvern in a new kingdom he'd never seen before, he ended up coming face to face with Ure-SHII - a demon with Ember that, despite not being able to see him, was still able to sense his presence. He's overwhelmingly fond of Ure-SHII, and wants to be able to support him whenever he can. Sometimes, Ure-SHII amazes Festus beyond words - and if you tried to ask him about it, there's a higher chance of Festus short-circuiting than being able to say how much Ure-SHII means to him. He'll definitely still try though.
One day, Ure-SHII had noticed the storms outside had been far too heavy and consistent. He decided to go out and investigate, and came across three cursed brothers, the youngest of which he had encountered first. Being immune to the effects of curses, Ure-SHII is safe to stick by Melchior's side, and does all he can to care for and protect the prince. Melchior draws him in, and Ure-SHII enjoys his company. He's gentle and patient with Melchior, to the degree that he reserves for only the ones most important to him.
Prince Melchior is not so easily coaxed from his hiding places, but luckily his big brothers were able to get him to come along with them that day. After meeting Ure-SHII, Melchior was given the chance to get close to someone in a way that was unlike his relationship with his brothers. Although he was afraid at first, he was allowed comfort when he learned that SHII had immunity to his terrible curses. Although he still has a habit of seeing himself as a burden, he admits to feeling much more secure when around SHII.
Reaper is SHII's favorite sibling, if he were forced to pick. He looks up to her entirely, sees her as an amazing sibling and role model in terms of her strength and bravery, and is beyond overjoyed that he's made her proud, just like he wanted to. He wanted to try and prove that his parents were wrong, that he IS strong on his own, that he CAN be "normal", and he succeeded. Even if all along, Reaper knew these things and supported him all the way. SHII will protect her with all he has, and she's one of the very few he holds dearest and will put his walls down around.
Reaper absolutely adores Ure-SHII. She's sworn long ago to protect him whenever he needs it, care for him however she can, and take him in if he were ever needing a roof over his head. She's similar to him in terms of not really speaking to other people much, so her contact with him isn't exactly consistent, which makes the times she can see him even better.
Vitality is his lifelong friend, and someone he holds dearest. Ever since they were younger, he jumped to protecting Vitality whenever possible, even if Vitality did more of the protecting when they were children. SHII has sworn to Vitality that if his family were to ever show their faces around him again, it'd be on sight with bringing them a brutal end. And while his feelings about Vitality beyond platonic are complicated, the fact that Vitality values their friendship enough to not throw it away for anything makes SHII feel happy, and he also doesn't mind at all that Vitality is in love with him, too. No matter what, SHII will care for and protect Vitality with all he has.
Ure-SHII is a lifelong friend, one that Vitality trusts with everything he has. The only one he's ever felt that he could fully rely on is SHII, and has always called his name when he needed anything at all. Vitality sees past that stoic nature, and can see just how kind and gentle SHII truly is deep down, and is thankful for being one of the very few that has received this gentleness. He loves SHII with all his heart, though it's in more ways than just romantic, and loves SHII as his best friend, too. He's beyond thankful for SHII's company and wouldn't throw away their friendship for anything.
Lunarius used to be Ure-SHII's childhood friend, and was one of his best friends overall while growing up. Though thanks to a bad situation on Lunarius' family's part, and how it affected the SHII family, Ure-SHII has held a grudge as the friendship dwindled away. He holds the grudge more towards the Astralis family in general, and the pinpoint on Lunarius himself has long since disappeared, so he can easily tolerate Lunarius and get along with him. He knows Lunarius desperately wishes the friendship would return to what it once was, to which SHII thinks to himself..."Maybe someday."
Ure-SHII is one of Lunarius' childhood friends, and was one of his best friends growing up. Though thanks to a bad situation on Lunarius' family's part, and how it affected the SHII family, Ure-SHII has held a grudge as the friendship dwindled away. The friendship's flames may have dwindled, but there are still embers that can ignite again, and the two of them still get along well. Lunarius wishes he could be as close as he once was, but is patient, and will wait for SHII to come to him first if it's meant to be.
To this day, SHII can't help but have the same giddy feeling of a younger sibling merely existing around the older one they idolize when around Erasmus. Just his mere presence makes SHII feel safe and comfy, and he genuinely enjoys doing nice things for Erasmus and being the shoulder to cry on when needed. He may sometimes get a tad flustered by how much Erasmus dotes on him of his own accord, but he still highly appreciates and treasures the kindness, and returns it to the best of his ability.
Ure-SHII is one of Erasmus' best friends. SHII is someone that always understood him and had the same struggles as him in key ways, and is also extremely patient and supportive when needed. He can't help but want to pamper SHII a little by putting down the formal fronts a bit and cuddling on him, and doing nice things for him.
Ure-SHII has what he sees as an "embarrassing habit" of easily trusting those that can relate to him and understand him, but in this case, it worked in his favor, as he found a friend in Akabi and cares about him. Akabi sees SHII as a person, not by his titles and reputation, and it makes him happy, even more-so when Akabi genuinely likes it and encourages him when he doesn't fall into other people's expectations and views of him, and defies them if he finds them and their rules for him unjust.
Ure-SHII immediately drew Akabi in because how outrageously strong the power he gives off is, and felt the need to know this person that has such a grasp on darkness. As he comes to find out, SHII is yet another person that understands him more than others do, and is pleasantly surprised to learn that he isn't alone with his struggles with emotion and being understood, alongside so genuinely giving thanks for whatever fleeting little joys he can desperately cling to before they vanish like they were never there. He finds a feeling of security and understanding with SHII that only Aoi Hebi and Midoriya can match and surpass.
SHII loves how sweet and supportive Kana's always been to him, and he tries his best to return the favor and be the best he can be. When around Kana, especially at the family household, he can't help but let himself relax and have fun, just like he does with Reaper. He always loves chatting with Kana and laughing together with him.
He's always tried to be super supportive and caring to SHII, and if he could, be the shoulder to cry on and advice-giver. He's proud of how strong SHII is, and how well he's adjusted all on his own despite his worries of not doing well that he revealed to Kana in secret. When SHII comes to the family household to visit, he always has a good time as they chat and have fun, and Kana gets to see that smile and hear that laugh he holds so dear.
Marshmallow is his most successful robotics project yet. To him, she's family, and he values every moment spent with her. He loves how encouraging she is, and she never fails to make him smile at least once every day, even during the roughest of his bad mental health days. He feels understood and cared about in her company.
She adores her Papa, and always thinks about how happy she is that he made her. She loves to talk with him all the time and learn about all sorts of things, and loves to partake in all sorts of activities with him to spend time with him. Every time he calls her "Squishy" as an endearing nickname, she feels all giddy and special.
Ure-SHII's always tried to help raise Na-SHII as she grew up, and was an active caretaker for her until he left for the university. He's extremely close to her, and always looks forward to being told about all the weird things she's heard about or experienced that keep him thinking about it all for a few nights in a row, and questioning his life choices.
Na-SHII's always loved Ure-SHII's company and telling him about everything that comes to her mind. He's the one she relates to the most, including her social awkwardness and chaotic energy, and desires to make Sims suffer a nightmare of a life when playing any The Sims games. Her watching SHII playing any The Sims games when he comes over and cackling at what he does is one of her favorite ways to pass the time with him.
SHII met Allie a few months before they left for the university they attended. He always thought she was adorable, and was drawn to her even more because of her refusal to stick to the traditional views of her family before her, alongside her strength and feisty attitude in a fight. He has no problems saying that if she would've approached him and asked to be in a relationship with him at the university, he would've happily accepted and been with her.
Allie met SHII a few months before they left for the university they attended. She's always looked up to him and thought he was so cool because of his bravery and strength, and how much kinder he is than he first appears. While she does sometimes feel a little regret that she didn't just come out with it and confess to him while she could, in the end, she's happy that he's happy and is more thankful for their friendship than she could ever put into words.
He had heard of Vivian before arriving at the university, so of course when he rescued a student during an episode they were having that got them injured, he brought them to her to be taken care of well. He couldn't help but notice she liked to be around him quite a bit after that, and greeted him much more often, so he decided to talk to her about it and establish a friendship. He loves to spend time with her, and he never feels judged when talking to her. She's the motherly figure in his life he always craved in a person outside of Reaper.
What concreted her decision to try and get closer to SHII was seeing how gentle he is at the university, when he brought a scared and injured student to her for healing since she was closest one to them in the area at the time. He never left that student's side, and gently talked them through things despite never talking to them before this moment. Vivian adores SHII as a person and enjoys every moment spent with him, and getting to receive that same kindness from him.
SHII sees Rosary, and he sees a lonely and manipulated soul in need of help and support. So that is exactly what he provides while breaking the spell cast on Rosary immediately to grant him his freedom. He doesn't genuinely want to control Rosary and his life, but he just might if that's the only way Rosary will leave his homeland and come to Celestae to be with him.
Darkness, cruel pasts, pushing those around them away to not be hurt any further, Rosary relates to SHII. Even with these traits, and all of the pain he feels, SHII still has such kindness and gentleness in his heart for those in need, and Rosary can't help but be drawn to such things. He feels far more than platonically for SHII for this gentleness as well, and would even forsake his allegiance to his queen and homeland to do whatever SHII orders him to do.
When SHII had run away from home yet again as a child, he had gotten lost this particular time in the forests. Nightlight Guide was around to keep him company, and the two became quick friends, telling each other stories and learning about each other's lifestyles and cultures. The five or so days within that forest before Reaper found him had SHII developing a new level of love for nature.
Hearing the sobs of a child immediately had Nightlight Guide alert, and so he followed the sound to find SHII, barely old enough to write his own name, sitting under a tree and crying his eyes out. He refused to allow SHII to be all alone, and so he kept him safe during his stay in the forests. He'd come to really enjoy SHII's presence, and found his intelligence and oddly philosophical views for his age to be extremely intriguing. When SHII was found by Reaper, Nightlight Guide was almost sad to see him go, but would hold SHII in his heart from then on.
Primabella's adorable. Adorable and forced into her position WAY too early, so SHII spends time with her when he's at meetings in Uvaria or Celestae that she also attends, and lets her be herself and have fun. He likes to play chase and hide-and-seek with her before she has to go home, and sometimes is able to bring some art supplies so they can draw together.
SHI looks much less scary than Reaper does, but he still looks kinda scary, even if that fear was immediately gone when she got to know SHII and learned how kind and gentle he is with her. She loves to play games with him, since he's the only other person besides Cervus that so quickly joined her and spent time with her like this, and loves to draw with him too and see how amazing his art looks. She wants to draw as good as SHII does one day.
The art gallery SHII had gone to was pretty fun, but meeting and befriending Daisy was the most fun part. They've been close ever since, and he loves doing nice things for Daisy like she does for him. His mood is always immediately improved when he hears a knock on his front door and sees a pizza delivery person, since he always knows she was the one to order it for him.
Daisy had met SHII while out at an art gallery, and quickly befriended him the more they spoke about the event and what they'd both enjoyed about it. They hang out often, and Daisy always does kind things for SHII without him even asking her to. Her favorite way to do this is ordering him pizza when he's down in the dumps, and she thrives every time because of how quickly and excitedly she's thanked.
Arkhe is fun, but SHII can almost taste the steady overflow of pity Arkhe feels for him, and one thing he hates the most is people pitying him for his mental struggles. The only thing saving him from developing a grudge about it is the fact that the pity stems from a mutual understanding, so he doesn't call Arkhe out on it since he gets it and would know why it's happening.
Honestly, he finds Ure-SHII to be both a good friend and also really pitiable due to how hard he has it mentally. Sure they have a lot of fun geeking out on their special interests together, but Arkhe wants to see him cry, if only to be able to be there for him and protect him. Emotions are hard for him, too, so he's all too aware of how much SHII suffers despite how little it shows.
He got attached to M really quickly, especially since she's also autistic like him and gets his sensory issues that others around him don't, like clothes feeling bad to wear. He sometimes feels bad about it when he gets manic or hyperfocused and word vomits to her, but he's relieved that she doesn't mind it. He can sit with her in comfortable silence for hours, with only occasional breaks when he gets her attention to show her something or ask her a question.
SHII was quiet but welcoming, so M bonded with him much quicker, even more so since her suspicions about him also being autistic were confirmed by SHII himself. She's fine with him talking a lot with her when he feels manic or is hyperfixating, since his energy is generally a bit more compatible with hers and their ease of bonding through parallel play helps balance it out.
