a djinn who has fled her circles to join humans. cala never truly felt like she fit in with her own kind, finding the more tangible societies of humans much more interesting. before her grand decision, cala has lived a long time, as herself or as an amalgamation, standing either by the side of humans, defeating dangerous other djinn, or waging war against them. her most recent consciousness however, stripped her of what she had, as she would be rejected for her close bonds with humans, and her decision to live amongst them. it was then that cala was 'reborn' in a sense, with no memory other than her abandonment, and a form that didn't quite fit in.

cala has since then gone through many things, including a rocky life in india, to her full bloom arriving in fogmere. she went from a timid, confused and insecure drag queen to the loving and open motherly figure she is now. cala, though still humble and fussy, has completely gotten herself out of the difficult place she was in previously, with a new home, warm friends and a properly hectic life she's surprisingly fond of. she's become the mother she's always dreamed of being, having adopted the most adorable little troublemaker of a son, who one of the dancers at the club found in the garbage bin.

she runs a shelter of sorts in the appartment complex above the club she works in, taking in people in need, be it the mentally ill, addicts, runaway youths, or just people who can't care for themselves properly. many are fond of her and she's helped uncountable people get back on their feet with the warmth and love only a mother could provide, but knowing her, she'd never accept that kind of credit.
