Donovan

a semi-poorly revived zombie, raised by a bunch of oddly clad people who abandoned him before he could process what happened. donovan has very limited memories of his actual life, and spent the first few weeks of his new existence, like most with his fate, thoroughly lost. it was sheer luck that he was picked up by those with good intentions, and transported to fogmere. donovan is afflicted with a desire for blood and flesh of humans, a new trait he detests, and has not indulged in even once. instead, he uses a chew stim, both to keep urges at bay, and to keep focused. even with this, he shelters himself, not only to avoid harming anyone, but also because of severe social anxiety.
a dim-witted, head in the clouds kind of person, but thoroughly kind at heart. in life, he made a habit of looking out for those who can’t stand up for themselves, and though he doesn’t socialize enough for such things nowadays, his compassionate nature still lingers. never quite got back up on his feet, after his revival, though considering his circumstances, is ”content” like this. the only time he can really quite focus is when he knits, and he makes most of his savings cash off of selling his works online, orgiving them away to his neighbors in east rill square. the only other socializing he gets is at the hospital, where he goes for check-ups and medication for his decaying. secretly, he has a bit of a crush on the zombie working there, but has yet to bother acting on his feelings. he’s way too shy and awkward for that, anyway.

donovan is convinced that this is all there is to his existence, and all there will ever will be. little does he know, a reminder from his previous life is right around the corner.
