the pearl-eyed, runaway princess from tatsu-kyuuden, hiding from her responsibilities of being the next in another line of long-lasting draconic rulers. originally known as chohime, miho was miserable in her life as a princess. repressed in every single way, miho escaped the stifling life of serving as her parents' dress-up doll, growing tired of being bossed around and having no say in what to do with her life. Even before her grand eloping, miho would sneak out of her chambers quite frequently, disguising herself as a humanoid to blend in with the servants at the castle's guests house. here, miho attempted to combat her loneliness by socializing with just about anyone she could, and got herself a reputation as quite the charismatic, dashing young woman. 

miho watched spirit summoners - sometimes necromancers, come and go. always human. always very short-lived. tatsu-kyuuden was a sheltered place, intentionally so, as it had many secrets to hide. ancestral secrets that couldn't get out. the royal family hired these summoners to be able to converse with their deceased relatives, and as the contracts ended, so did the summoners' lives. miho was sickened by this behavior, as if her seclusive, do-nothing family had any business ending innocent lives for a roleplay of military power fantasies, but was powerless to stop it. 

until a certain summoner came along, and changed her life. it was a chance encounter, where the summoner kashvi happened to run into her doing laundry in the courtyard. they bonded after, though kashvi was unaware of her actual identity for a while. it wasn't until she accidentally saw her left eye, shining like a pearl, that it became clear to her.
nonetheless, the two grew ever closer, each desperate for the other's contact, as they gave eachother attention no one had granted them before.
and then they fell in love.
one thing lead to another. both wishing to avoid their fates, the two fled from the castle to escape, and didn't stop running until they found fogmere. now, the two live a simple life in a simple flat. 

with her history, despite her charisma and talents at smoothtalking, miho is an incredibly repressed person. she doesn't know how to express herself very well, and is easily embarrassed about her feelings. she often comes across as distant, but this mostly stems from her insecurity, locking herself away to avoid acting out of line. inside miho is soft and intimate, and really is quite giddy about her new freedom. miho feels very intensely towards those who treat her kindly. with that, she can be a bit overzealous and fiercely protective. she feels very intensely about her interests as well, and can come off as a little dorky, but she only really shows this side of her when she trusts you.
