a punjabi woman with a hijabi background, who since her apprenticeship in spirit summoning has developed a complicated relationship with both her faith, and her family, one she isn't too enthused to cultivate. kashvi has since lived on her own in kerala, getting by with the money she could scrape in performing ritual services. life wasn't great, but it was manageable. 

this changed when she received a summoning from Tatsu-Kyuuden. 

initially confused by the grand opportunity to work in a royal palace abroad, one ran by dragons at that, kashvi let herself be swept along just by the grandiose suggestion of it all. her skill in her craft was above average, indeed, but she had never suspected her reputation to proceed her with such lengths. she was never the most confident person, but definitely a passionate one.
it was during her time at the palace that, asides from a grand job opportunity, she would also come to meet her new best friend and lover, Miho, later revealed to be Chohime herself, in human disguise. through her, kashvi came to know of the dark side of her new gig, that it would prove to be fatal in the long run. clouded by naiveté and a newfound self-confidence at first, kashvi took this revelation with shock and offense, but could not deny the gravity of the situation. 

so she fled, and took miho with her. 

despite her soft, weak-willed nature, kashvi has gone and accepted to service among dragons, only to later flee in secret and take their princess with her. truly, she's still reeling from the scandal of it all, several years later! kashvi, now in a safer environment, can now take time for herself and those close to her. with her newfound breathing room, kashvi's more emotional side has surfaced once more, and though she can be rather gloomy herself, proves to be a fantastic shoulder to cry on. despite being thoroughly socially awkward, she's landed herself in one of the more eccentric friend groups in Fogmere, and considering it's fogmere we're talking about, that's saying something.
