a blunt, no-nonsense, and yet quite the warm person. though she may look scary and mean at first glance, liang is much more friendly than she lets on, and quickly takes to new people she meets. she isn’t too good at interpersonal conversation in a way that isn’t standoffish, so she gets along best with people who can take a bit of sarcasm. cracks jokes when you least expect it, and probably is more fond of you than you’re aware of.
one of the few humans in fogmere who didn’t arrive with a pre-existing tendency for magic. liang arrived in fogmere with her mythos husband and five children, where they sought out a more peaceful life for their children. the two ran their own company selling cars, and they made a fair living off of it. for a while. it wasn’t long until both her husband, and her youngest child, fell horribly ill, and the hospital could only save their child.
liang, devastated, widowed, but above all too hurt to care for her family alone, was quickly taken under the wing of the Acharya-Kikker coven, who let her move into their home together with her children. though liang is a distant person by nature, the trauma that came with the sudden loss of her husband closed her up even further, but even she could not deny the warmth this silly bunch brought to her. soon, her life would pick back up, as she pursued her old nursing education at the hospital, and even picked up a bit of arcane arts from the coven. most of her children have now grown, and live independently, and she could not be more proud of them for achieving so much despite their hardships, and could not be more grateful to her family for helping them all get there.
