Most underworlds - however they are defined - go deeper. Find a tunnel, a pit, some form of abyss, and if you wander deep enough you'll come out on the other side. Here lies the Greater Underworld: a nexus between chthonic places that serves as a lawless paradise for monsters.

While there are many stories to be told here, this one in particular follows the story of a group of humans seeking refuge from their own oppressive world. Aided by the goddess Menthea, they venture out to protect monsters from the many forms of humanity to be found in the multiverse. Their pasts stick stubbornly close by, however, and their desires to succumb to the Greater Underworld and become monsters themselves grows ever stronger...
