The characters from my webcomic series Zyra Slash.
A young alien, tired of his lack of courage back home, sets out on a dangerous rite-of-passage that has him sent to a strange world and tasked with befriending the natives. This world turns out to be "Earth", and the native humans are not so used to seeing aliens walking down the street.
Aided by a helpful human girl, this alien blends in with mankind to mingle with the others and learn all about typical Earth culture, all while disguised as an innocent, if unusual, young schoolkid.
