Deerfield, IL
These are the characters that I write for! They are planned to be characters in a gothic cosmic horror story of mine, called "Welcome To Deerfield"! The story deals with mortality, fear, and knowing how you're going to die; being directly inspired by my and my family's experience with huntington's disease...just, you know, told in a more fantasy way filled with demons and monsters that represent these struggles.
As the main character, Ken comes to terms with a familial curse that is set to take his life in an allotted amount of time, effectively ending the cycle at the end of one of his character arcs. He meets other characters throughout the story, helping each other throughout a world-shattering event that causes an entity at the core of the planet to finally wake up. My characters are very tight knit, deal with heavy topics that are close to me, and the story in general is close to my heart. I hope to get the entire thing out in a digestable format someday!
