Prince Robert is a friend of Posy's, though friendships with such high-status individuals means she can't turn off professional mode all the way. They met while she was working an event. Still, having such an important figure as a contact is very important to Posy! And it is a little fun to gripe with him about the stupidity of the less elegant among them.
Junebug is one of Bluestar's friends. She doesn't look like anybody that Bluestar's seen before, but she's pretty! She's grateful to have someone like her who's willing to be around her.
Misty Moon is one of Bluestar's friends. She's an alicorn, which is amazing, but Bluestar wishes she could use magic alongside her. She's amazed someone like Misty wants to spend time with her, but things have been better since.
Mio's former friend, and the reason her eyes were taken. If she'd just had the decency to die, Mio wouldn't be like this. Deep down, feelings of guilt and denial over what she did to her roil.
Jai generally fears and avoids pillagers. Sure, he's done business with them before, but it's gone sideways too many times to be worth it. This one tried to buy from him several times, but he's managed to slip away from her every time.
This damn merchant...! Tolozco needs something he has, but he makes a break for it whenever she finds him! Does he even understand how valuable that thing is?!
Decay finds this human pleasing, so Follower is on a quest to introduce him to the Spirit and bring him into the fold.
Opal is a kid who's been through hell, and Wyatt is determined to make sure she has a chance to heal. Despite everything, he's still not confident in his ability to take on a guardian role, especially for someone with so much turmoil. But he can't just leave the kid to the wolves, so as long as she wants him to be, he'll be there.
Nice guy, as far as he knows. Wyatt's traded small talk with the guy, but he's moved to the city recently, so he doesn't know him that well. Wyatt's never been in the habit of trusting cops too much, though.
Well this sure didn't go according to plan
Orbeez is tolerable, for a nukenin-- a rarity indeed. Regardless, they work well together, and they're willing to do so, which means they do so often. Sakurako assumes she's here for the free transport. She's actually a very competent crewmate! To the point where they can operate a decently large ship with just the two of them (and sometimes Taiyo.) And for all those positives, she still has her annoying moments.
Sharkass
Orbeez likes Saku. She's straightforward and easy to read. She doesn't mind taking orders on the ship if it's from her, but all bets are off on land. She's very fun to tease when Taiyo is present.
Sakurako is deeply in love with this sand motherfucker, against all odds. He was the first person to ever give a damn about her, and she'll never forget the day they met. He is someone very special to her, and while she's not much one for expressing affection, she makes no secret of her love for him.
shark ass!!!!
who is this chick actually tho lmaoo
Ariana was something of a mentor figure for Wyatt when was in his early 20s and alone in a big, unfamiliar city. She took him under her wing after they worked a couple shifts together at the club and got to know one another-- bringing him food when his paychecks were stretching thin, even inviting him to her home a few times. He considered her a valuable friend, and is still frustrated he couldn't do anything to save her or bring her murderer to justice. The best he can do now is take care of Quin.
Wyatt's a good kid, and one who's struggling to get on his feet. Ariana knows how that is-- hell, she's still stuck with this bartending job at her age-- and wants to help. She's know him for years by this point and is very fond. He's smart, hard-working, and genuinely kind; he's good with Quin the few times they've met, too, so that wins him lots of points in her book.
Birdie is an adorable kid, and Wyatt would be lying if he said he didn't feel any sort of parental affection towards her. He was with her dad long enough to bond with her as a toddler. They don't see much of each other these days, but he'll always be around if she ever needs him.
Wyatt Keyes is someone Birdie has a brief few good memories with as a very young child. She doesn't see him much, but he and her dad are still friends and she likes him well enough.
Karter is one of Wyatt's most dangerous connections. They were an infrequent customer of his at the bar, and while he's confident he's not on their bad side, the less contact the better when it comes to people like that. It really makes him understand he got himself in much deeper than he should have, in hindsight.
Wyatt Keyes is a knowledgable individual, but he's never once broken the rules of his business, so Karter doesn't think he's much to worry about acting out for no reason. Especially now that he seems to have stopped conducting business. They'll keep an ear out in case he's up to something, but won't be taking any direct action. The man has the respect of most of the underworld, somehow. It just all comes down to the fact that he knows a lot of very sensitive information.
