Yun's young and handsome uncle and his mother's younger brother; the two share about a fifteen year age gap yet they still relate to each other fairly well. He thinks his little nephew is adorable and thinks of him more like a little brother.
Despite not having grown up with him, Yun really idolizes his uncle and thinks he's really cool. His uncle has always liked him and treats him like a little brother despite the age gap.
Yun's mother; she is a very well known singer who had been working as a popular traveling songstress for many years before settling as a permanent show in Eldermore Waterfront. She regrets not being there to see her son grow up when he was younger because she was traveling so much, but she's still incredibly proud to see him making a life for himself
Yun had his mother in his life up until he was about 8; from then on she had to return to her singing tours and he was left to his own devices. Sometimes his uncle would stay behind, but that was a rare occurrence. He doesn't blame his mother, but does sometimes wish for the nostalgic feeling others talk about experiencing with their mothers as children. Their relationship has improved a lot now that they live/work in the same resort.
Albert's great aunt; took the child in after the loss of his entire family to an epidemic.
Knew she was a relative who lived in a distant city; traveled to her residence after an epidemic swept through his hometown and wiped out near all the population.
The Reagan Family is an old and noble family of Crafters who have long practiced the art of life gem extraction and refinement, blessed by Raziel as a form of magic enhancement. They are able to safely remove a Stardragon's main gem with no consequence to the dragon's life and even temper the magic inside naturally to resonate more with its owner. Artie is currently the only one of the Reagan family to know this technique, but during a lapse of judgement, allowed her favorite nephew Haavar glimpse some of its components as well. That was apparently all he needed and with that knowledge, he cracked the code and fled the area, leaving the Reagan family in ruins.
Haavar comes from a long and distinguished line of capable Crafters who have been blessed with gifts from Raziel. These gifts were passed down to those who the elders deemed worthy of each new generation and one such gift was the art of life gem extraction and refinement. However, Haavar did not receive this technique; he stole it from his aunt Artie and fled the Great Expanse. Ever since, there has been a bounty on his head and his name has been struck from the family records.
Haavar gets ridiculed a great deal for Séan being his biological son, but in truth, the boy is the child of a close friend who died while traveling to Blackwatch. When she didn't return from her trip, Haavar adopted the then year old boy and since then, Séan has regarded Haavar as his father without much question. There is no blood relation between them despite their striking similarities in appearance.
Séan knows that he's adopted, but that fact has never bothered him. He doesn't remember his mother and Haavar is the only parental figure he's ever known. Séan has never taken the time to consider himself anything other than a Starcrafter like Haavar despite clearly being a Starshooter.

Louis sees Cecile as an annoying type of pet his master brought back simply to entertain himself with, as he's seen him doing "this and that" with Cecile before. Eventually, Cecile's unruly behavior spurs Louis to decide to "train" this unsightly pet to be a better toy for both his master...and himself.
Cecile sees Louis as an interloper, an invader, an intruder on the (un?)stable relationship he had with Oliver up until this point. Until Louis came along, Cecile was the closest one to Oliver. Now the two (at least in Cecile's mind) are in a fight for Oliver's affections and attention.
To him, Oliver is his savior and that sort of thing can only be repaid with his life. Anything Oliver asks of him, he will do it.
Louis just so happens to be a convenient and very useful servant he picked up.
My ex and the most terrifying creature ever to walk this planet. I would rather face Helgin than make her angry again. And yet I keep coming back. Hmm...I don't believe I enjoy pain...
My ex and the biggest mistake of my life. How can one be so foul yet so suave at the same time? Ugh, I want to punch his weasel face in but push him down and kiss his- hold up, I need to go shower now.
Yun has had an on/off relationship with his father, as the man has been in and out of his young life sporadically since the beginning. His mother isn't much better, but still tries to reassure him that his father does love him. Yun isn't necessarily cold to his father, he just sees him as a sort of stranger he happens to be related to. The in-person interactions are always awkward.
Caerus hasn't met his son much, but he's still happy to boast about Yun to anyone who would listen. The letters he gets from his wife let him know of the many things Yun is doing and accomplishing. Not knowing any better, he sends some of the spoils from his raids as gifts back intended for Yun every year for his birthday when he's not able to see him in person.
In Lior's eyes, Haavar is his savior; freed from the slave death rings of the underground and brought into a home full of things he'd never experienced before. Initially given the task of taking care of Haavar's young son Sean, but Lior soon found that Sean's father was in more need of care than the boy.
A former slave that Haavar bought with the intention of 'retraining as a bouncer' for his establishment but quickly found that the teenager was better suited for domestic tasks. Haavar was already taking care of his younger son Sean, so he thought having an older child around would be a good influence for him.
Cecile's young son. Aramis didn't know of his existence until he was about 13.
Aramis' father, now deceased. He died never knowing he had a child.
Aramis has had Neville by his side since he was 11. Neville was the first "friend" he got, even if it was a bit forced at first since the younger boy was scared of him and his brash and loud personality. However, Aramis likes the fact that Neville is soft and willing to cuddle with him.
Aramis' personal manservant, given to the boy when he was 11 and Neville was 7. Neville has always been a bit timid and soft spoken, so he was easily bullied and pulled around by the older boy.
Sees Benji as a sort of uncle-like figure and is actually quite fond of the man, even if he would never admit it aloud. If he has a problem, he will usually go to Benji for advice or help in fixing whatever it is. He is grateful for the things that he has learned from him, despite his sometimes sharp tongue and clashes with his aunt.
Raised Aramis as a surrogate parent; stern but kind to the boy. Taught him weaponry and defense as well as personal things like reading, writing and other life skills. His influence has actually helped to shape some of Aramis' latter personality.
Cecile's older sister by six years. She and Cecile have the same father, but different mothers. Altheia was raised strictly and to be obedient to the family, so she resents her brother slightly who was allowed more freedom. When she got the title of family head instead of Cecile, her brother flipped and abandoned the family.
Altheia's younger brother by six years. He and Altheia have the same father, but different mothers. Cecile was given quite a bit of freedom and grew into a self centered brat, always demanding things to go his way. Cecile always expected to get the title of family head and when his sister got it, he left the family in a rage and joined the military.
Altheia's nephew, formally adopted by her when he was six after his mother died. Due to the trauma of losing his mother, he used to lash out at the family who now takes care of him. He has been kept inside the walls of the Valdier mansion until he comes of age.
Aramis' aunt on his father's side. She adopted him officially when he was found living as a squatter in the slums of the city and has taken it upon herself to teach him to be the next heir of the family. She sees a lot of her brother in him, which may not be a good thing.
Altheia's personal manservant. Devoted to her after she rescued him from a slave fighting ring many years ago.
Sees Benji as a capable servant and treats him more like a lover rather than a son or even a slave. She has let him handle "raising the children" that were taken in, as he relates to them more than she.
