Takes his packages and delivers books on occassion, thinks he seems rather friendly.
unsure how to feel about him? they were Vulnerable in front of him, awkward. appreciates his help tho.
now considered a friend
Mochrie, Mochrie. What am I to call someone like you, so present even in your absence? I can only hope he fares well in Faline despite the current unrest. Even now he feels more like family than I'd ever dare to admit aloud, but perhaps he knows anyway - he so often does.
The (secret) writer of my absolute favorite romance series of all time!! I forgot to ask for his autograph, do you think he'll sign all seventeen of my copies, or only the first editions of them?
I swear to fucking god, please do not make me read your fanfiction again. Thanks.
You're cool though.
A chance meeting in a dark forest turned into an unexpected friendship—at first shaped out of necessity and shared danger, as they scrambled to escape a horde of blight wights; Ioeth with their magic and Mochrie with his wits and knives. Unfortunately, Ioeth’s magic had some unintended side effects, hurting Mochrie in the process, and the two are now inexplicably linked. Despite Mochrie's gruff exterior and blunt remarks, Ioeth has seen a softer side of him, as well as (perhaps mostly unwillingly) shared some of their own vulnerabilities and weaknesses. Would trust with their life, and may have been roped into one of Mochrie’s book heists, against their better judgement.
They're cool. They piss me off sometimes, but so does everyone else. If I had to go through all of that bullshit again, I'd pick them to get stuck with me every time.
Trust is a delicate thing, and just as rare.
Something about his crooked smile makes me want to smile too. He's got a strength in him that I can only aspire to.
Finally-- someone who listens.
One can never appreciate a good lockpick enough. He seems to care very little for the trappings of nobility, and has to have a good head on his shoulders that seems difficult to trick, which is valuable. Should he abuse me tea set again, however...
An unlikely friend I've come to admire in recent times - Hard to deny he has a knack for robbery. I appreciate the help he's given me and eagerly await our next adventure...
This guy is hilarious. Everything he does makes for a good story. Probably base a character on him at some point.
Oh! Isn't he a delight to be around! My favorite little thief who has a bit of a violent streak to him, if I have anything to say about it. He's a good sport. A good man. He hardly deserves my presence, but he gets it anyways.
Admittedly, he's pretty fun to be around. Don't tell him I said that.
A witchfinder Ioeth met, one evening in Faline. A confrontation that could have gone very badly, but instead, learned a few unexpected things about him; among them his name. Left the encounter unharmed, but deep in thought, and perhaps with some sort of sympathy for Sylen, despite his initial (and in Ioeth's opinion, severely misguided) intentions. Likely to linger in their mind.
Terrified of the mage and their abilities. Realized shortly after that he was a mage at all. Personally conflicted about how he treated them, and their words scared him; would probably return with new thoughts if the two were to meet again.
