heya!! just bought synthwave after eyeing it longingly for about a year now. one problem - the css that comes attached with version 1 disables two tabs on my profile warning code (here). the two tabs that broke were the warning and dni tabs (they use the warning and danger colors respectively) - neither renders in the set of four tabs. i'm still learning my way around css so i'm not quite sure what to do about it, and thus i came back to you. i can dm you a key to the profile that's using it, i have it on just-me-lockdown because i'm not done, if you'd like to see it for yourself. any help at all would be greatly appreciated! ^^

oh NO did they remove their code... i'll just dm you the key to the page in which the tabs are broken and a link to a character who uses the profile warning in which it still functions. (and a google doc with my edited raw code, i suppose)

Hi! I don't want to be a bother, but upon purchase, it did say I could ask for help if I am having problems and I am, unfortunately, struggling.
I bought this code from you recently and the only issue I seem to be having is adjusting the background photo, the character background photo to be more exact, and whenever I adjust them, they come out kind of whacky or too big and my image sizes are actually smaller than the default picture in your example. So, is there any way to adjust the size? I can't seem to find the numbers to adjust them. It's just Center/Cover and that's it; no number, not even in the extra Bulbasaur section. That is the only thing I seem to be struggling with. T.T Thank you for you time.

Hello I hope this isn’t a bother, but I bought this code and when I pasted it into the bin this is how it looked for me! I wanna change the image I circled, and for the text to be lowered (or perhaps removed entirely) but I can’t find where to do that at all 😭
I was also wondering if I could change the white background to a grey, but I can’t figure that out either! Sorry if I’m intruding !
hello, of course!! sorry for the delay, but here we go:
to lower the image, you search in the CSS for:
.sidebar {
margin-top: 170px;
background: transparent;
}
and then increase the size of the margin-top to the number you seem fit to where you want it to be!
to change the white background, it's mixed with all the other background: #fff, but it's the .content-main class! you can just remove it and paste separately, and add the background color you want!

this might be a dumb question but how does one... use the folder directory? like do i put all of my folders in one folder and then put the folder directory code in that parent folder?
hello! sorry for such a delay!
so, the folders code are basically a manual code that you use just to make them look different and to redirect to the real character folders. so basically you'll create a new folder, empty, paste the HTML/CSS and then fill the titles, descriptions, images and then link to the actual folders with the characters, where it'll redirect.
then you can let the code folder as the default, so when people click on it, they'll see the coded directory and clicking on the titles, they're redirected to the characters regular folders.
does this makes sense? let me know if you need a better explanation! c:

second, i hope this is the right place to ask- on the Cotton Fields user code (currently active on my profile), i noticed that when i link something in text, the entire link turns white, so it doesn't show up against the background- do you know how i can change the link color, if possible?
(live example: the first sentence on the intro box, which is a link, is invisible, and names on my featured character page also white- but i'm using someone else's folder css so it may be unrelated?)
i did attempt on my own but can't seem to figure it out, i'd really appreciate any help on this! no worries if you can't ^^
EDIT: i am so sorry, but it seems i found another weird issue- on section 2, all the text i've written in the 3 side boxes were using a bulleted list format, and showed up perfectly fine using a live editor- but is not displaying as lists on my actual profile? genuinely unsure about this one, i made sure the html and css were identical to how it was on the live editor,, if you also know how to fix this i greatly appreciate it !! ;o;

sorry if this is a silly question, but do you have any user profile css that hides the fave count of characters :o ? even if it hides other info (like image count, link count, etc.. and only shows the chara name) id be totally fine with that! i want people to be able to fave designs for their inspiration/dreamie folders without me seeing :> p2u is perfectly fine! love your work btw, it looks so clean and aesthetic!!!
no silly question at all! though i'm not sure what exactly you mean with hiding the fave count - you mean to hide the number of faves from when someone goes to your profile? even if the numbers are hidden, you would still be notified of it and it's still possible to check via /favorites, because it's a feature that can't be modified. the only thing possible to do is to hide the number itself! :o
oh yeye thats what i mean ^o^ !! apologies if it wasnt clear! id be fine if people can check the fave count using the /favorites (i do it myself sometimes), and i disabled notifs of it, so yeaye just looking to hide the number ^^ (thank you btw for replying!!!)

to your css and it'll do the job! :D

Hi there! I bought one of your CSS + HTML codes a few minutes ago and I ran into a small problem!
I'm not sure how to fix it since I copy-pasted it from the file without changing anything.
The HTML doesn't fully cover as it showed on the live example.
Here you can see how it looks on my profile and this is how it's supposed to look.
I'm not sure if it's a fault on my side or if there is a bug but I'd love to know how to fix it^^

no worries, if you just want the buttons a bit down that's a easy thing that you can do! would you be able to identify the nav row? you can search with a ctrl+f in the code and look for nav-pills, you'll see there's a <ul> class that starts all the <li> with nav-item's right? before the nav-pills, there's a div exaclty like this: <div class="row mb-3">, correct? you can add a mt-3, it'll look like this: <div class="row mb-3 mt-3"> here it is in visuals:

hello! the tabs are very connected in the structure of the code so you would need to have a high html understanding bc it would need to remove the tab, and the nav at the side, it's a bit complex. right now unfortunately i can't edit because of my time, but you can also fill out with a different content inside!
