🔸✨🔸 Anniversary Story Prompts:

For this event, there are three Story Prompts available!  You may do as many of the prompts as you like with any of your characters! Each character can only do each prompt once.

At the end of the event, Mages will receive a stat point bonus for every Story Prompt they complete.

  • You may complete all prompts with the same character.
  • You may submit collabs and RP as prompt responses, but every participating character's choice must be clearly indicated for mods.
  • Prompt responses earn double gold!

Prompt responses must be worth at least 1 gold (i.e. at least 100 words or at least an uncolored headshot).
Upload your response like any other art or literature submission, tag this character profile, and claim your gold; collect double your total count for prompt responses.

🔸✨🔸 Prompt 1:

On the orders of unknown parties in the Mage Court, Ivratian troops are intercepting caravans and ships of captured mages on their way to Namarast. They seem to be approaching the Witchfinders in charge and accusing them of minor bureaucratic infractions to hold up their transport. This is not only holding up Witchfinders, but intercepting regular trade as well.

Whether your character is a Witchfinder, an Ivratian soldier, a merchant, an imprisoned mage, or just a bystander, they have found themselves in the middle of one such altercation.

What do they do?

  1. Speak up and take action, whatever your character stands for. Your character receives +1 Power.

  2. Start a fight, sow chaos. Your character has their reasons. Your character receives +1 Corruption.

  3.  Initiate a debate. Problems are best solved with words. Your character receives +1 Discipline.

  4. Observe, and mind their business. Your character receives -1 Cost. If your character already has 0 Cost, you may choose to take a point of Corruption instead.

Prompt responses must be worth at least 1 gold (i.e. at least 100 words or at least an uncolored headshot).

🔸✨🔸 Prompt 2:

Rumors circling this Mage Court suggest that some of them are willing to accept help from “unsavory” elements to achieve their goal of undermining Archon Miriam and her Witchfinders. It’s unclear if Sabora themself is involved in such dealings, but recent news items seem to point toward the rumors being true.

How does your character feel about that?

  1. Underhanded tactics aren’t enough. Whether your character favors the Archon or the Court, they believe open force is the only way to get things done. Your character receives +1 Corruption.

  2. Profit is profit. You don’t blame everyday Ivratians for making a buck on a power struggle. Your character may even get in on this. Your character receives -1 Cost. If your character already has 0 Cost, you may choose to take a point of Corruption instead.

  3.  Results are results. You agree that your preferred faction’s goals should be achieved by any means necessary. Your character may even get in on this. Your character receives +1 Power.

  4. Upstanding Ivratians – especially nobles – should rely on the merits of their beliefs to enact change, not crime. There has to be a better way. Your character receives +1 Discipline.

Prompt responses must be worth at least 1 gold (i.e. at least 100 words or at least an uncolored headshot).

🔸✨🔸 Prompt 3:

Although most of the Mage Court’s actions have been political and bureaucratic in nature, there are some instances in which the conflicts between Witchfinders and their opponents have become violent, especially those spearheaded by Enchanter Guro with her controversial, militarized approach to mage liberation. Volunteers have been called on both sides of the conflict to help handle the aftermath of such altercations, from healers to cooks.

How does your character answer the call?

  1. They don't. This is not your character’s fight, and getting involved is too risky. Your character receives -1 Cost. If your character already has 0 Cost, you may choose to take a point of Corruption instead.

  2. Your character lends their talents enthusiastically to their faction of choice. Your character receives +1 Power.

  3.  Your character feels duty-bound to help others, regardless of factions. Your character receives +1 Discipline.

  4. Your character is already on the front lines, eager to be part of the skirmish. Your character receives +1 Corruption.
