prompt three: out of the frying pan

Suddenly, there is a loud noise of snapping branches and bending trees. From behind comes a large wheel-shape, shimmering white in the moonlight, followed by bright flames that flicker and die in the wake of the thing.

It looks to be some kind of large wyrm, with a sharp beak and glittering opalescent scales. It makes a musical, hissing sound, shaking its scales as it approaches, snapping dangerously with its wide mouth.

prompt four: desperate measures

Four weeks after the horn was sounded, the warnings about the poisoned river water are still in effect. News about the monsters hiding in the ruins have spread, and concerns are being raised in the nearby communities. Those who dare enter the jungle ruins and face the monsters head-on may notice that they are looking somewhat worse for wear; the Serpentā€™s quick attacks arenā€™t so fast anymore, and the Baneā€™s breathing sounds a little more strained. Neither seem intent on moving away from their lair, thoughā€¦

Perhaps they could be lured out of their hiding spot?
